What a shock to the system- moving from Coffs to Walcha in winter. Even in summer it can be cool, winters are literally freezing.

That’s for sure. Talking of shocks to the system… we spent nine years in Far North Queensland and then returned to Armidale 15 years ago! We’d forgotten what cold was but Armidale quickly reminded us. Quite reacclimatised now, so they’ll be fine in Walcha soon enough 😀

Watched this from overseas. I've family connections in Walcha, and it's been a long time since I was there, but a few enjoyable flashbacks. A nice place and that train project was mesmerising. I'll arrange a visit next time around.

Hrew up in Walcha pretty much (was always at great grandparents farm, just behind the mueseum).
