The M-Team finally resolves something that the audience has been begging for for weeks now: the key hanging off the old desk in the hidden lair under the stairs. As they go through it, they make an interesting discovery that opens up a new can of worms that has been in the studio since before they got there. However, it also provides some answers they were looking for, and perhaps a bargaining chip they can use later down the road.

The levels of radiation they were measuring weren’t that high. Chernobyl has much higher levels and most of it is still relatively safe to be in except for a few areas like the reactor and the Red Forest.

See, that's what happens when you write a script. You leave out things that give people a clearer idea of what reality. Can I start listing down things that they have conveniently forgotten/skipped over?
1. The Mountaineer - The car pops up only when they want it to. The car got "stolen" and they brought it back (which they wanted to hide) and yet they never checked if anything else in the car was damaged in an attempt to retrieve something.
2. The SD card - They received it last year and yet it magically refers to stuff that happened in 2021. And remember the March 5th date in there? How convenient for it to be March 5th 2021 considering that they "accidentally" found the case in the ceiling which which was a couple of years (YEARS!) after they found the keys.
3. The emulator - They keep mentioning dates that belong to the 80s and earlier. Why on earth would they use emulators on 30 y/o machines? Wouldn't you rather only use older tech or upgrade everything? Also, why send them stuff rather than just showing up and telling them in person off-camera.
4. The wires coming off the case - They forgot about that too, didn't they? Wasn't their task explicitly to unplug the case and figure out what and where those wires connect to? They just found the staircase room and forgot about that and yet EVERYTHING that is needed to progress the story is conveniently there. The cables don't matter anymore or the fact that there could have been more jammers in the units?
5. The LAPD case - What about that? Matt goes to the sheriff's office and says that they found an LAPD case with corrosive fluid inside of it and not to mention, ACTUAL POLICE EQUIPMENTS, and then what? The police are just like, "meh, who cares." You do realize that this is at least a workplace safety violation if nothing more. No one looks into it or mentions it that there have been multiple break-ins, a theft, an act of vandalism and potentially deadly liquids that can corrode plastics and floorboards and spontaneously ignites.
STOP BEING DUMB!
I'm sorry, but I'm just imagining D just being like "let's go to work!" And climbing down into the stairs and yelling at anyone that walks on the stairs above the office.

Green11ndys they wouldn’t have a whole series of videos if they looked at everything all at once. And it’s obvious this series is for views. I mean cmon, what would this channel be without it now? Lol. Even if this is all real, it’s now been edited in a way to make sure there are multiple parts to keep it going. But it does make me wonder if they looked in the drawers in advance and then said “ok, next vid we’ll go into more detail about the radiation thing” etc etc. Who knows.
Little info on radiation. It's everywhere. The air we breathe, the rain, our clothes and in our skin. If the Geiger counter has a light that comes on and the needle is pinned, get the heck out and call the EPA. Anyway, happy hunting and remember, everything under the stairs, is accessible from the ground.
My microwave went off during an intense moment when we were listening for clicks and I was like how do they not hear the clicks... but then I realized it was just my pizza rolls in the microwave.

Everyone's freaking out over Matt grabbing something radioactive without gloves but doesn't seem to realize, radiation doesn't give two craps. Radiation goes through basically everything, the only thing that temporarily repels radiation is lead. The gloves that John Doe sent might be the very gloves they need to handle that but without that knowledge in mind, you wouldn't even think of that. Also seeing as John Doe is cryptic af, of course they would think the gloves were for looking at the "evidence" in the case and not what was hiding in the wall. Also depending on how much radiation is coming off of that they would need like several pairs of gloves not just a single set...
We have not seen this map for a couple of videos, the one were there were several arrows drawn over a plan of the base. On this map was one arrow with the word "Pegasus" linked to it and I think Matt said it points to where blue base is. This case might have been what this arrow was pointing at in the walls! I am not sure if there were many more arrows but where do they lead to? So exciting!
Who else kind of wants to see just a video of them going through every room with the Geiger counter, just to see how many more times Matt says "that's fascinating" 😂
