British Railways-O Gauge Model Railway Layout Hollowbeck Shed, Doncaster Gauge O Show 2022

We are at the Gauge O Guild model railway show held at Doncaster in June 2022. Here we see steam & early diesel era Hollowbeck Shed, a fictional place set in Tyneside in 1962. The layout depicts the grunginess of the era, all the dirt of a 100 years of steam operation, which was coming to an end, with early diesels running amidst it all. Yes, i thought the background scene was very well done..... And it showed how the early diesels had to share the dirty steam enviroment, not good for diesel traction!
