- Ref 322: A fantastic property in the heart of the Peligna valley close to Sulmona, the coast and ski resorts. The property is in good condition with scope to make more accommodation. The original features in this one are beautiful.
NOTE: It is mentioned on the video that there is no gas central heating however there is heating of this type in most rooms. Sorry for the error!!!

Beautiful property at such a cheap price
For those of us who don’t know Italy’s territory inside-out it would be very helpful if you could use maps to situate the property within the local and major cities, local amenities including mountains (name them) lakes, etc.. Thank you for your videos !
I said the same exact thing!❤
In defense of the creator of these vids, it's already quite a job to do the house tour, and there are masses of info available online once you know the name of the region and town, which he always provides.
Google Abruzzo or names off the video titles to see the regional maps.
This is a wonderful property. What is already here in this house is more than enough! Added corridors and bathrooms and a grander kitchen and extra bedrooms will only chop up the beautiful spaces as they were not intended. The house is wonderfully unpretentious, as is. Replacing the covered up windows is a good idea; that’s original to the house. The apartment or simple renovation of the first floor would be great. Otherwise, I would do as little as possible, enhance it and not gild the lily. Modern humans are spoiled, and so easily inconvenienced.
Love you're videos because they are so calming. I get home from a stressful day and watch these and it puts me at ease, so thank you very much, and keep it up. I have been to Italy once, mostly northern area so its awesome to see different areas on this channel. I always thought about buying a place in Italy but was hesitant until I started watching your channel.
Love it. I've read somewhere that way way back, tax laws had changed and homes were taxed based on the number of windows-- why we often see bricked up versions on old homes!
Jesus - it is already gone. I am speechless how quick you did this one. Congrats!
Perfect home, close to town but you get a bit of land :) just lovely.
Love love love this one, even the orange
Great place! I personally love the orange paint. From looking at the first room ,there was obviously a artist living there at one time.❤
Another beauty except the orange paint lol. I just love old and this one fits the bill. Loved the old flooring. Another awesome video. Well done.
I would LOVE to live here!
I’d make the first floor the kitchen on one side and dining room on the other; replace the front doors for these rooms with large windows for more natural light. Then convert the existing kitchen into the lounge/living room, the current lounge into an office/studio, library, or game room. One could also make the first floor a master bedroom with en suite & sitting room and keep the 2nd & 3rd floor layouts the same. In the attic, possibly open part of it up to have a terrace/entertaining/BBQ area.
That’s a great idea
What a beautiful building, garden, and views! Love all the stone and the ceilings. There is so much potential!
The stone walls are very inspiring but as long as earthquakes stay at bay😮😮😮😮😮
LOL Do you realize LITERALLY every building in Italy is made primarily from stone? If you notice, the walls of most of them are up to a meter thick often thicker. And many are cabled to resist earthquake movement. LOL ~ ~ ~
@@terryridge4596 Ah, well! You are talking about stone blocks. Small pieces of stone are more common and scroll down wether shaken. A few years ago, it happened in a small town turn into rubble because an earthquake crossed the streets. The houses melted down...
Such a sweet view of the mountains!
O.M.G! The views from the bedroom balconies are absolutely amazing! The great thing is, you could live in this house just like it is. Fix the window in the door on the top floor, clean all that up.....all the way down to a full remodel and anything in between. It looks like it’s good and sound and you can’t buy views like that anymore (well you can, but you know what I mean). And the price is unbelievable, too!
The least you change, the better you preserve the original charm of the place. Less interventions, best results. In my humble opinion.
I think you could live in it and make restoration later. But It's cheap because it's a small town without a lot of comforts, job and so on, I'm afraid. Big cities and reknown locations are expensive in italy
Gorgeous, nobody really knows how strong are those buildings, they are forever, many, many generations of people will be there. I live in Florida and I am scared of hurricanes, but this house can not be destroyed by hurricanes, love it ❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
But it can be destroyed by earthquakes which often occur in the area!
@@roberteigen4499 They're rarely major though.
@@rachelmoran2205that's not true. Abruzzo and many other regions were devastated by a major earthquake not many years ago, and there are lots of other natural catastrophes here due to human carelessness and pollution
mate, you are just a legend. I am a South African looking to relocate. I find your commentary hilarious, honest and STUNNING hahah.having watched you for a while now I would never go to anybody else - well done
An art studio in the storage area.
I'm late to the party, sorry friends! As a landlord in the US, ALL I see here is POTENTIAL. OMG the home I could create....The possibilities are endless. Lovely property.
Some woollen rugs to keep your feet warm:) lovely house by the way.
Would like to see more like this one
I'd definitely open up the sunny aspect with more windows
My minds eye can see what this could be. A mansion. 🌸
Love the garden! It’s huge!
Amazing property and what a large garden area
I love your videos. Looking for a place to retire and these are so helpful. Thank you ❤
Can you imagine a small vineyard in the garden.
Why not!
Fabulous. I'm always amazed by the sheer amount of unutilised space in these Italian houses. Many thanks!
It's funny how we all live differently. To Italians cantina's, cellars and other storage are as important if not more than a living room!
Just love a stone house and this is really nice with loads of potential! 🇮🇹
Wow , this one is perfect , everything from , own parking area, nice garden, large patio area and as we say in US that bottom floor apt is MONEY 💰 rent that out . Have someone else pay your bills 👍. Any house that has an area to rent is always money 👍. The rest of the home is great for the price , doesn't need much just little paint open some of the closed windows and adding central heat/ ac combo isn't that expensive. I did extensive rehab on my grandparents 120yr home, re-wired the whole home and re-did all the plumbing. My rewire cost in US 10k per floor and was done in one weekend.
10k per floor 🥵🥵🥵 you would not pay anything like that here
@AhomeinItaly electricians make alot alot of money per hr. They did give me a deal though they did 3floors ,for 20k. Most wanted 30k . Just an ac/ heater unit or boiler. is 3k-10k depending on size of home , that doesn't include labor just the unit . US is very expensive overall
This is so wonderful! Downright MAGICAL!
For a €100K it's so beautiful. In my country, Malta you need more than a million to buy a house like that if you ever find one for sale.
Yes. Of course it Actually is worth over a million dollars.
What a sweet house, if I had spare money now I would buy it
Fantastic house!
the comments on the orange and green is hilarious🤣....the house is really great!
Wow the B&B , the stones , yes the 3 level floors , a garden ... let's go insite ... location i believe you .. nearby is also a good option if the house , neighberhood is nice and friendly .. well
O my Goodness, the view takes my breath away. It's hard to believe that it's not Heaven. I was going to ask were the road in the front went to but as we all know, all roads lead to Rome.
Love this house!
So beautiful.
Beautiful Place❤
Beautiful 😍 property ❤
Gorgeous property
Love all of your videos.
Love your videos ! Thank you for your hard work from Canada!
With this price in Lebanon, you can buy a small apartment between 65m2 and 75m2. It's unbelievable to have such a stunning property for just 110,000 euros
ahlan...I'm a bit surprised! With such dismal economy over the last several years, I expected property in Lebanon to be less...I had thought I might retire there, but it doesn't look too good.
Absolute stunning building.
Very nice house!
Stunning
Ha Ha! I think that I've seen the video ad for that small blue house across the street!
Really Really nice 👍
AMAZING
This place needs LIGHT!!
Fantastic exactly type place I will be looking for this fall. I want a building off on its own to avoid issue like playing great music at volume lol
beautiful~
Aren’t windows usually bricked up to give the building extra strength against earthquakes?
Yes. And considering the zone is very earthquake-prone I wouldn't open any more windows.
Nice house good price. Plenty to improve reminds me of French houses..
You could use hollow wooden beams to cover the pipes and wiring on the ceiling.
It could also be a suitable. dwelling for multiple generations of one family with everyone having their own space and grandma in-house.
That is not traffic compared to where we live! LOL! That would be so quiet compared to what we are use to.
I agree some people should just stuff their comments. This is real life, not sanitized, staged fakery. Keep it real.☺️
Liked and subscribed.
Stop saying what you could do with the spaces you show. Its so beautiful, you are spoiling it. On the other hand I love your passion
Quiero ese edificio ❤
some of those closed off windows are blocked insie by stairs.. icould see this on the tour
Love this!! Enjoyed the “color’ commentary. This is an older vid and I don’t see this one on your website I don’t think so…assuming it was snapped up!
Wow❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous!
For someone who is just starting to explore a move overseas from the U.S., what would you recommend as a starting point to research emigration, property ownership, etc?
Join our weekly live sessions on youtube and Facebook every Thursday from 7pm Central European time, that would be a great start.
This is really very sweet.
If Italy was the same as the Netherlands in olden days, there were taxes levied on the number of windows in a property. Sometimes was more cost effective to brick a few up.
It was exactly the same in Italy. I presume that's why a lot of the windows were bricked up.
It’s beautiful but to big for me also a bit outside my budget and love stone but a bit much stone walls on inside. I’d tone down one wall with white plaster but love the idea of closing out the bottom as individual area make it a studio. How much would it cost to remodel i.e. clean outside stone and being back windows ?
I would turn first floor into a small pub if allowed
De vloeren boven owww my god these once I SPECIALE LOVE !! My only thing in this whole adventure is , that i fall totaly in love with Guardiagrele and the people .. made accualy(?) a few friends , who 😅 want me there how sweet is that !! ❤ that's the THING .. brain and your hart ❤.. but i can see the potential in this price and like the origional materials. You can't have it all , that is a fact , i think. Love high seelings, can"t help it ... but when you look atcthe house in front .. you have too love it ...
I dont see any type of cooling system or fans, does it not get 80+ there? I have also noticed that Italians do not seem to believe in closets in bedrooms. I would see about putting in a large window in the master facing the mountains. That would be an amazing view.
What is a typical job in the area? Employment requirements etc?
The side of the house facing the mountains is screaming for huge wrap around decks. Can't believe it's gone on this long without them.
Thank god the comune would never allow that.
Love it too, but too large for me.
nice video but you did not make it clear what part of the garden was included. The olive trees were included?
Within the fenced area.
You with the vertigo going around in circles in every room making me dizzy. 😂😅😂😅
That ground floor space would make a great reception/lounge area for guests.
Just put a powder room in that area behind the stairs.
I think someone miscalculated when they put that stairway up to the second floor. It comes part way into the cross hallway. Now that's scary. You don't want to sleepwalk to the bath from that master bedroom and take a tumble down the stairs. 😮
You don't always need an en suite in the master.
That larger attic room would make a nice bedroom and put another bath in the other room.
They probably cover in those windows so they could have more wall space for furniture pieces.
That living room had that little wood burner in the corner with a pipe going up. It looked like the original fireplace was completely gone.
👍👍👍👍 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Does it come with the kittycat?
Has potential but needs a woman’s design/decoration touch. Stairs not good for seniors so downstairs would need to be converted to one’s specific needs.
Old house/building to restore in Italy? Many hidden costs/expenses they don't tell you about.
I would not trust those balconies. Old building. Pretty views
😊
Love it! What’s the weather like there?
I’m wondering also.
Up to 30 degrees c in summer, down to 0 in winter.
Excellent. Bright sunny days in winter anything between 0 and 14 degrees (only 1 month max when goes to zero through day but usually only in the morning) and average between 29 to 35 in summer but can got to 40 the odd week.
Is it still on sale? I've only just seen it
Интересно сколько дому лет?!!!
Also are those olive trees included
No, the land within the fenced area is.
Any ideas how old it is?
It is sold nick?
Hi nick nice house. But you didnt say the name of the village
Hi, i think you have us mixed up with another channel. Dave is our presenter.
The name of the town is always on the main thumbnail picture, in this case it is Bugnara however the property is sold.
What is the total sq m of t he e house ?
Whit this his one, i lost the ref. nr .. still availleble?
Is it difficult to hire someone to maintain the yard?
Who’s the music?
