I feel like some of the bosses are a let down. In Galacticraft, you had a with skeletons with long proportions, two bows, and they could pick up and throw you into lava in the moon dungeon. On Mars, you had a giant, three-headed Creeper you could only hurt by hitting the TNT it fired back at it. In this addon, you just have bigger variants of vanilla creatures in a big room, with only a small percentage of exceptions. The Evolved Fire Bat was unique, as vanilla bats are passive mobs, while the boss can shoot fireballs. And the Evolved Magma Cube, while not having any major twists from the vanilla counterpart, did have a boss room with lava pillars pouring everywhere, which added some challenge. All of the others were just bland, with the three interesting non-vanilla enemy concepts (Ice slime, Snowman, and the Astronaut) being wasted to just big enemies that try to nit you if you get close

Such a great mod to explore especially in survival. Awesome vid, easily the best vid on extra planets that I've seen.
Well, I love this addon but I love more Galaxy Space. I mean, Extra Planets looks a bit interesting to me because the fact that you can landing in the gas giants is, in my opinion, an interesting concept (And it remembers me when I, as Kid without idea about planets, believed that Jupiter and Saturn were big desertic planets, Uranus an ice world and Neptune an ocean world. Well, nostalgic childhood) but I feel it hasn't enough variety .
Also l love Galaxy space because what I saied before, it has variety in the planets, and when you go at one you really feel like you have arrived at other planet/moon instead of a recolor of other one, and in this addon you can go at exoplanets, more than one exoplanet (not like Extra planets, where you only can go at Kepler 22 b and the other explanets are only for visual).

This mod somehow adds so much and so little at the same time idk how it does it
The addon is really grindy, but ig that's just how some people like to play. Imo, Kepler-22b should be the overworld, but with a few alterations like extra untapped ores/a ton of ores, and no hostile mobs.

You should do one for galaxy space because it’s also a great add on for galacticraft and adds a lot of mechanics

The amount of iron and tin you need to make the armor is dumb. I can literally craft a rocket before I craft 2 pieces of it
Full set requires 384 tin meanwhile tier1 rocket requires 68 tin

@@misirthekedy idk mode diffuculty effects amount of ore you need i calculated 68 tin for tier 1 rocket but i might miscalculate it
There are some more tin that you need to add. When you calculate it like that it's 74. (It somewhy said 91 in official GC wiki.)
fr and my world hardly has any easy to find tin
having to make the space suits is the shittiest idea ever, to make 3 of them (for my squad) it would take over 1000 tin, which is just not worth my time
not to talk about all of the iron and coal you'd need to mine
I love the rockets I’ve made off world wharehouses/storage facilities and made them automated using rockets and launch pad computers
Tip: when you play extra planets mod turn off radiation. Radiation is annoying when visiting planets

Everything costs an arm on a leg when you compare ExtraPlanets' crafts to Galacticraft's ones. (The mod is still sick in my opinion.)
i love the Galaxy space addon, one of my favs. I disable the radiation at the time being because it gets annoying when you want to go exploring. i do not like the suit in the mod and i will not wear it because it looks ugly in my opinion. I also modified GC in the config file to deal more damage up to 4 hearts when suffocating to make it a more realistic experience when suffocating in space. 3 taps of suffocation damaged and your dead lol

Thanks for the info, I got the Extra Planets addon but no spacesuit cause I thought I got everything that was needed for Galacticraft Core. Really made me lose my patience earlier.

Isn’t low pressure what in real life would kill you in most planets?
well, only if you came back to earth, then it would be deadly, because you evolved in that specific environment with low gravity and low pressure, and without training your body, it would become just a stain on the floor
@@neptune1030 Well you evolved to Earth and then moved planets. You’re already adapted to high pressure so cant really go anywhere.
Once I get to the planet select menu, it automatically kicks me off. I can’t rejoin my world because it keeps kicking me off.

I was hoping for more imaginative settings, not MOAR settings, I'm miffed about how everything is quantity over quality. We should be treating these planets like how Mojang and modders treat implementing dimensions and features for those dimensions, even if the actual is filled with fuckall, the modders could've gotten creative by taking inspiration from fiction or making their own interesting Mobs.
But no.
Don't get me started on that simulacrum of a temperature system.
Though my favourite planet is Kepler, it reminds me of what happened with treasure island into treasure island but with candy island.

Do you need help?
its called, get JEI mod. Power inventory mod. First craft oxygen gear, next craft all your machines you will need for life support etc, then last craft you rockets.
first machine you need too craft is coal generator and the circuit fabricator. Dont forget to craft solar panels before you go to the moon. Recommended to craft advanced solar panels. Dont forget about wood, leaves, dirt, and water.
is your more planets addons not letting you place leaves because there is no oxygen? well craft a bubble distributor, have 6 to 8 total heavy oxygen tanks and at least 2 oxygen collectors. the reason for that many oxy tanks is to be safe than sorry when it comes to setting up your life support.
1. first place you solar panels down
2. place your oxygen collector and connect it to the solar panels, you only need one oxygen collector for this task at the moment.
3. place down your oxygen bubble distributor and connect it to the solar panels for power, then connect your bubble distributor to the oxygen collector
4. Place one of your oxygen tanks into the oxygen collector, this will feed oxygen to the bubble distributor, an oxygen bubble should appear.
5. once the area you want to set up your life supports system has a large enough oxygen bubble. You can now place your dirt, water, wood, then your leaves with no problem. But Hurry! your oxygen supply is limited in that oxy tank.
Once you oxygen life support is ready for your HAB, you can now carry on how to set up you HAB base the way you wan to.
