Do you have well drained soil? Know for sure with this simple free DIY test!

Many waterwise or California native plants require "well drained" soil to thrive, but what exactly does that mean and how do you know if you have it?
In this video, you will learn how to conduct a very simple and free DIY drainage test to know for sure. All you need is a shovel, a measuring tape, and a way to fill a small hole with water.
You will then learn how to interpret the results.
Don't have well drained soil? Do not panic! There are plenty of great California native plants adapted to slower draining soils as well.
