Mike Marino Oh be quiet pathetic Cry baby, I know your likely upset because we buttfucked whatever your team is during the season but there's no use in hating on the best QB of all time
+Jake Isnt Russian its just a bad Message for the kids that manning my using performance enhancing drugs. What year was he having it sent to his house? Oh yeah, that year. Give him time he will choke again this year. Hopefully he can make it until next week, that is how it should end for him, yeah next week afc title game.
As a Broncos fan, I still feel it was a little unfortunate that the Broncos only won one Super Bowl in the Manning era (mainly because of the defense) due to a monumental choke against the Ravens and by getting slaughtered by the Seahawks. But I really enjoyed the Manning era in Denver. The last four years were really fun. Thank you Peyton for choosing the Broncos and happy retirement. GO BRONCOS!
Its the curse of the orange jerseys in SB 48 lol but yeah I felt like we should've won more but our defense wasn't great yet as we were still adding all the playmakers to the team.
GO BRONCOS! I definitely feel like we could have won more, and I think him leaving is what ended the Broncos super bowl era. He was a leader. Even when he was hurt during our super bowl year, he still helped us win games. Maybe he can become an exec one day
The failures with both Tebow and Manning had the commonality of John Fox. In the Steelers game we scored in 11 seconds, and Fox took a knee with multiple time outs and Peyton Manning needing a field goal to win over the Ravens. If you see the soundFX from the Tebow/Bears game you her how he is telling coaches that they cannot play conservative any more - that they have to go win it. Manning was so good that Fox did not drag him down too much, but still being ousted in the first round of playoffs twice and 2-3 in the playoffs, as opposed to 3-0 under Kubes.
Peyton Manning is truly a class act. It's hard to find anything to dislike him. Unless you use beating your team. Definitely in the top three of all time regular-season quarterbacks. And this comes from a Patriots fan. I'm glad he picked the Broncos. He is just not a great cold weather quarterback. That's why I was a little surprised that he chose to go to Denver. Granted they are a first-class organization. I wish him luck, except when he plays the Patriots.
You just don't get any classier than #18. I was born in Indy and been here my whole life, and when he left and made personal phone calls to all of the local sports media people that had covered him over the years to thank them....that just shows you his class. Gonna miss him, he is a great asset to any community on and off the field.
As a lifelong Bronco fan who was raised in Indy, I know how hard it is to find that "post-Elway" QB. The fact that the Colts have another 10+ year top 10 QB immediately after Manning is astounding. Manning is living out the rest of his career with an excellent organization and a more well-rounded team. Nobody lost in this, but people need to realize Manning has moved on from Indy. He will always be iconic to Indianapolis, but we gave up any "possession" we had of his total legacy when we dropped him.
earthpart3 Favre also has 11 losses. Peytons about to get his 2nd so check your facts. Its a team game. By the time he retires he'll have EVERY record except interceptions thrown. Amazing!
We actually did improve our secondary this offseason. Tracy Porter is easily an upgrade over Goodman, and we now have good corner depth in Drayton Florence and Omar Boldin. We also still have Chris Harris, who was a tackling machine last year, and, of course, Champ himself. Plus, the Colts have a HORRENDOUS defense (2011 showed it) and Manning could still take them to the playoffs each year.
Being a die hard Bronco fan, I still cannot believe how LUCKY we fans are to have Peyton as our QB!!! We have a great D-fense and the O line is protecting Manning..love how the team came together this season!!! #1 AFC seed..playoffs in Denver's own back yard..Don't wake me if its a dream... :) Go Broncos! YOU GOT THIS!!! :)
4:30 Rich got excited that Sir Peyton Manning knew he was a michigan state alumni... that is class right there... mr. peyton did his homework and that is why he is great, because he WORKS AT IT!.....
+Megan McDaniel Yeah, he be learning pocket passing from this legend... oh, well so it goes. Let's be real only 4 QBs would possibly start ahead of Peyton... Brady, Rodgers, Ben, Brees and even then I'm only confident about the top 2 and even then they might alternate halfs.
W for Denver. I remember this was controversial at the time because Tebow was hyped up and Andrew Luck was coming up on the draft, although we had no chance of drafting him.
I'm glad he ended up here in Denver, but you guys looked good this year. You guys had an amazing draft, a great coaching staff, and Luck will continue to improve so Indy has a bright future ahead of them.
Would've loved to see Peyton play for San Fran when we were hot. I think we had the pieces to go all the way at least once. Now we have the Hayne train.
It was a team effort, there were a lot of factors. The Broncos had the game won in the last minute of regulation, and the secondary blew it. While it was a team effort, most of the blame falls on the secondary.
They couldn't give him the long term contract but he would have had a better chance short term to win a Super Bowl with San Francisco. That 49er team last year with Peyton Manning at QB would have been scary!!
I came back to this cause it’s been almost 10 years to the day we signed manning. And idk if your still a active account but wow that was crazy what he did for denver
man, I totally forgot that the seahawks had made a bid for him. I'm glad they didn't win the manning sweepstakes but it's fun to think how different the landscape of the NFL would be if that had happened. I've heard it said Russell Wilson likely would have ended up in Philly....so that means Peyton's decision not to play in Seattle is the determining factor between the Eagles having a solid qb for the next decade plus or going through 10+ qb's over the next decade as is now the more likely scenario.
+Daniel Curtis The year the Broncos played Seahawks in the SB, Peyton was setting records for passing yards, tds, etc. If you put him on that Seahawks team with that defense they probably go undefeated. Heck Put 2013 Peyton on this Broncos team and they probably go undefeated.
Colette Gray His second on two different teams without Bill Belicheck? Oh and it would be the best season for an nfl quarterback all time. So yeah, not that big of a deal, but at least they're not going to be watching the superbowl this year, unlike the patriots.
The Broncos went after Peyton to win now, not to build for the future. And they're doing a good job of that, they're 7-3 with a easy schedule ahead. They have a good shot at a 1st round bye. He may not be around in 5 years, but every he is around he gives them a legit shot at the super bowl.
I felt like San Francisco would have been the better move do to fact that they had a stacked team almost every position was coveted. 2 super bowls instead of just one for Denver. 49ers should been his number 1 decision.
I agree with everything you say but Champ Bailey is an amazing cornerback and it kills me to say this as a giants fan but I would say that Revis is the best cornerback
Dude, Champ Bailey Von Miller. GREAT PLAYERS. Broncos have a good defense. And hey Eric Decker, Demariyous Thomas are good wide recievers. Peyton is a good fit. Broncos have looked good. They might win the superbowl in a few years or less!
actually its hard to tell either way, in the time that sean has been a full time head coach his regular season record is 1-0, so its pretty hard to judge
Broncos: Number 1 ranked team of 2012. Von Miller tied the sack record for a season. Our defense is strong. Broncos only lost to Ravens in double overtime by a field goal. On the other hand, when Broncos went to Baltimore they won 34-17. That's an 11 point differential against the Superbowl Champions. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, that's all that is.
I love Peyton and he has done a lot for the Indy are most people will never know. That said, 19 mil a year is ridiculous. Nobody is worth that and that kind of ridiculous spending is why the "average guy" can't afford to attend pro sporting events. Hell, even college ticket prices are getting ridiculous. $60-$150 a seat for big 10 game tickets? INSANE.
He puts them in contention year after year. You have any idea how much the teams make in TV alone? If anything Manning should get 40mil a year. 19 mil is 'only' a mill per game. You're not factoring in how much a WIN is worth in this league. Big difference between being 13-3 and an 8-8 team.
Lmao at this guy.... John Elway,Terrell Davis,Champ Bailey,Jason Elam,Floyd Little, Steve Atwater,Gary Zimmerman,Randy Gradishar,Shannon Sharpe,Rod Smith, . Should I name 10 more
sammy doutt sure all those players are there but between 1999-2012 , Denver was plagued with bad season . I mean sure Plummer was alright but he left lol...
rota cetle no the super bowl is his top priority, its just that i think deep down Manning thought it would click better in Denver and obviously it has.
+rota cetle Think money, WRs and O played bigger factor. Think he was a huge Elway fan so he couldn't resist imo... he didn't want a game manager type roll in SF even if it meant 1-2 easy SBs.
Couldn't agree more... Demaryius Thomas is gonna have a break out year considering that he is a possession WR that has great running ability, that's perfect with Manning's quick passes play style, same with Decker
2012-13 they had the all around best team in football- he probably wins the super bowl 2013-14 they were even with Seattle for the best team- possibly another super bowl 2014-15 they had all the pieces they just needed their qb to lead them(manning would've done that)-another possible super bowl 2015-16 3 straight amazing seasons and maybe all their players don't retire/leave, manning getting old. They'd be in a spot like Denver is in right now (playing in the super bowl) I'm not a San Francisco fan but you can't deny they had an amazing thing going with Harbaugh
Too bad no one associates him with that anymore. He is now known as a Bronco. Everyone is all about Luck in Indy...they threw Manning away. And I bet they feel silly now.
Nick Bianchi Oh please. He lived his glory days as a Colt. He became famous as a Colt. And he will always be one at heart. He will never leave a legacy at any other team the way he did as a COLT. Hands down. And you know that too, like everyone does, you just want to be bitter about knowing where his heart truly belongs.
Timber180 Really? You are pretty clueless aren't you. Peyton urged Irsay to release him and take Luck because he knew he would not be playing very much longer and he wanted the Colts to take advantage of their opportunity. No one threw him away and no one feels silly for releasing him. When Peyton was first drafted he told Irsay "You would be stupid not to draft me" and before he was released he told Irsay "you would be stupid not to draft Andrew Luck". It's how the game works and Peyton won't last forever and you will soon find yourself without a QB back at square one. Oh and by the way, I guarantee you people still associate him with the Colts. EVERYONE knows where he came from.
mwright166 I am actually not clueless and I am not going to fight over the internet with someone I don't know. Irsay was tired of him being on the bench cause of his neck problems and they considered him old and wanted to bring in a new young QB. So they literally THREW him out like trash. I still stand by what I said. Yes Peyton had great days in Indy, but he will be remembered as a Bronco. Sorry to say for all the sad Colts fans who still live in their Manning era. Maybe he'll be remembered as both? We don't know. But I'm done here.
Little did anyone know that only a year from that day, he would have the best season not only of his career, but of any QB in NFL History
+Jake Isnt Russian HGH is a wonderful thing.
+Jake Isnt Russian ill check in after next weeks game.
+Mike Marino Not sure what that has to do with anything but sure, you do that
All Colts must grow up someday. That day when a Colt grew up and became a Bronco.
We love ex. Colts QBs drafted 1st overall in Denver.
Maybe we can get Luck if he unretires and win a SB with him.
And history was made. Love my Broncos and we miss him SOOOO BADLY!!!
As a Broncos fan, I still feel it was a little unfortunate that the Broncos only won one Super Bowl in the Manning era (mainly because of the defense) due to a monumental choke against the Ravens and by getting slaughtered by the Seahawks. huge tom brady fan but peyton is one of the classiest sports figures in the world
I'm a Broncos fan but still think that Tom Brady will be the best QB to ever play the game
+Rdr, gta 5, COD hacks/tuts thats irrelevant to his post
+Sxunds you are irrelevant
Aidan Johnson ktc
He's not a "class act" anymore like everyone thought he was
Peyton Manning is truly a class act. It's hard to find anything to dislike him. Unless you use beating your team. Definitely in the top three of all time regular-season quarterbacks. Love Payton. I hope he’s goes to HOF as a Bronco! Plus it’s so cool to be a SB winning QB with 2 teams. ♥️🏈
He didn't sign with the Colts for a 1 day contract so he basically retired as a Bronco.
You just don't get any classier than #18. Time to admit Irsay was wrong. Two Super Bowl appearances for Peyton as a Bronco!
unless Luck's career gets cut short by that atrocious O-line just like they almost did with Manning . . .
He will silently kick his own ass for this one till death lol
He was a fuckin fool to release Manning.
TexasLean you called it

and andrew luck retires
First class all the way, Peyton is the main Manning! No offense, Eli.
Damn 7 years ago..
Peyton Manning is the best in the league right now and of all time
Yeah, with his one ring and most playoff loses/most one and dones. Amazing!
earthpart3 Favre also has 11 losses. Peytons about to get his 2nd so check your facts. Its a team game. By the time he retires he'll have EVERY record except interceptions thrown. Amazing!
Champ Favre is bad too.
Wrong: Johnny Unitas is the best of all-time, Aaron Rodgers is the best in the game right now, but Peyton is awfully good
***** Most postseason losses though. no one cares about regular season accolades, he doesn't show up in the big games
We actually did improve our secondary this offseason. Tracy Porter is easily an upgrade over Goodman, and we now have good corner depth in Drayton Florence and Omar Boldin. Miss this dude 🐐
He's a gentleman but he's also smart. He doesn't want to give opponents any reason to come after him and risk another serious injury.
eli had a monster d-line for sb42 and an amazing run game that year. also an amazing d-line for sb46
4:30 Rich got excited that Sir Peyton Manning knew he was a michigan state alumni... that is class right there... mr. peyton did his homework and that is why he is great, because he WORKS AT IT!.....
kaepernick wouldn't be doing anything right now if Peyton went with SF
I agree,
Lol, lol.
LOL
Lol, :D
This moment is about to turn 10 years old next year. Feel old yet?
Hands down one of the classiest men in football.
The level of class this cat shows at all times blows me away. Well spoken, humble and respectful. Like a gentleman always..
I wish he went to the NFC imagine a Brady vs. Manning superbowl...
+F JV Wow as a bronco fan that would've been cool haha
Ikr? I remember hoping he'd go to Arizona.
+F JV There have been two of those and Manning won both 😉
Wait... wut
***** Tom Brady vs. Eli Manning. I never said which Manning.
Peyton Manning
Nuff said.
Peyton Manning is a hall of fame quarterback in my opinion!!!
W for Denver. I remember this was controversial at the time because Tebow was hyped up and Andrew Luck was coming up on the draft, although we had no chance of drafting him.
I'm glad he ended up here in Denver, but you guys looked good this year. You guys had an amazing draft, a great coaching staff, and Luck will continue to improve so Indy has a bright future ahead of them.
a lesson in perfection and class.
Peyton Manning is the next hall of fame quarterback in the NFL!!! He might go to hall of fame with Michael Vick!!!
I grew up watching Peyton play. It was a sad day to see him go, but my Colts are definitely coming through now!!! ChuckStrong
Can't wait to see what he'll do in Denver!
Such a well spoken man.
Would've loved to see Peyton play for San Fran when we were hot. I think we had the pieces to go all the way at least once. Now we have the Hayne train.
+Big Ole Nate ... ; )
+Big Ole Nate 2011 9ers were BEASTLY
Thank you Payton Manning keep on putting up good points for fantasy. through to Demarius Thomas plz
Same here, dude i agree 100%
I miss Peyton being on the Broncos 🥺 I miss them being good as well 🥺
Dude said Peyton is not good.... Boy u must not study football
It was a team effort, there were a lot of factors. The Broncos had the game won in the last minute of regulation, and the secondary blew it. While it was a team effort, most of the blame falls on the secondary.
We love You Payton!
Peyton... Dumbass
Has Peyton always been this nice and good with the media?? I haven't been following his career long and only started after he signed with Denver.
6:45 Anyone remember who Matt and Jake are? I'm guessing Alex and Tim are Smith and Tebow
Next to signing Elway...Best decision the Broncos ever made and I love Peyton! Broncos 4 ever.
Peyton always looking good lol he's got a nice suit I love it! I want one just like it
chose denver for the weed
This was 2012, it wasn’t legal...
...Yet
He knew it was gonna get passed. That's why he bought 20 Papa John's
Me too!
Colorado Pride. Go Broncos. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That was the 2nd best move we could of made... Very good move getting Porter
Hell yeah and that defense... wow
str8 class
I LOVE YOU PEYTON
no,
i saw him play against the Saints in a playoff game,
he has crazy good decision making
his head is so enormous, LOL i love this quarter back, Truly one of the greatest of all time
They couldn't give him the long term contract but he would have had a better chance short term to win a Super Bowl with San Francisco. That 49er team last year with Peyton Manning at QB would have been scary!!
Go Broncos!
I'm a die hard colts fan, and I shed a tear when I heard we let hime go. I wish him the best with the broncos.
I came back to this cause it’s been almost 10 years to the day we signed manning. And idk if your still a active account but wow that was crazy what he did for denver
Let’s Ride!!
Yay! The world can finally breathe again! Peyton Manning is back to the Denver Broncos! I can barely wait to see what happens...
I got most of my humble training from Peyton Manning. #ItsTrueItsTrue
That would be so weird to see him on the 49ers.
3 If you count McGahee droping the ball on fourth down.
Hearing that Peyton was considering UF breaks my heart. What could have been.
Brady chocked
man, I totally forgot that the seahawks had made a bid for him. I'm glad they didn't win the manning sweepstakes but it's fun to think how different the landscape of the NFL would be if that had happened. Lol would it be his 2nd? hahaha. Lets go pats!!
Colette Gray how do u live with yourself
Lol
Lol

He may not be around in 5 years, but every he is around he gives them a legit shot at the super bowl.
I'm gonna miss Bowlen and Peyton so much...
That's true... But Denver picked up a Safety, forget his name though that had like 60 tackles last year so I'm still confident
They're doing fine man lol. Save it for RG3 and Cousins.
I felt like San Francisco would have been the better move do to fact that they had a stacked team almost every position was coveted. 2 super bowls instead of just one for Denver. 49ers should been his number 1 decision.
I think its super cool manning went to denver
fucking crazy yo!
This dude never gives up on talking out of the right side of his mouth. Really his entire right face is completely contorted.
wow 96 mil over 5 years wow!
the broncos rock
Rich "If you beg my pardon" Eisen
I’m a win , lose , or tie California Bronco Fan!
6:40 just turn on the legends.
I smell another Superbowl for Denver Baby !!
actually its hard to tell either way, in the time that sean has been a full time head coach his regular season record is 1-0, so its pretty hard to judge
Peyton is very dangerous period!!
Thanks man, good luck with... Luck.
I love this. "I knew the Niners were in the NFC.", "I knew what division the Titans were in.", very funny.

Umm, they're almost bowl ready. I would love to see Denver and NE in the bowl. Especially with the current roster.
manning made the broncos a household name
Lmao at this guy.... John Elway,Terrell Davis,Champ Bailey,Jason Elam,Floyd Little, Steve Atwater,Gary Zimmerman,Randy Gradishar,Shannon Sharpe,Rod Smith, . Should I name 10 more
sammy doutt
Denver is a household name today. If we took great players from history to determine who's a household name, every team would be one.
sammy doutt sure all those players are there but between 1999-2012 , Denver was plagued with bad season . I mean sure Plummer was alright but he left lol...
they already have a good qb with hassleback though
Let's go Broncos
thats how hes getting through all the neck pain.
I feel you brotha I feel you.
Go Broncos LOL
If Tim Tebow can throw for 316 yards against the Steelers(supposedly best passing defense in nfl), can't imagine what Manning is gonna do to them.
woulda won a superbowl already if he joined the 49ers.
rota cetle
no the super bowl is his top priority, its just that i think deep down Manning thought it would click better in Denver and obviously it has.

I wish he would've gone to SF. He would've had another ring or two or three.
Buddy boy ... Nope
+M.F. Thatherton hahahahah look at 49ers now. Jesus you are wrong.
2012-13 they had the all around best team in football- he probably wins the super bowl
2013-14 they were even with Seattle for the best team- possibly another super bowl
2014-15 they had all the pieces they just needed their qb to lead them(manning would've done that)-another possible super bowl
2015-16 3 straight amazing seasons and maybe all their players don't retire/leave, manning getting old. They'd be in a spot like Denver is in right now (playing in the super bowl)
I'm not a San Francisco fan but you can't deny they had an amazing thing going with Harbaugh
id love to see rodgers and payton go 1 on1. but if payto n went to nfcc i would liked more of brady and payton
Greatest of all time and it's intercepted!
Manning will always be a Colt. Always.
