  • Hello, everyone, welcome to ApparelWin channel, I’m Lily. Today Let's talk about type of embroidery and things need attention when you wanna do a embroidery on the garment.
Embroidery is a craftwork of decorating fabric or other materials by using needle and thread or yarn. Embroidery can also assimilate other materials such as pearls, beads and sequins etc. embroidery is mostly used on dress shirts, denim, caps, etc. There are different types of embroidery used in garments. So It must gonna help when you have a new design which need a embroidery pattern.
So today I will cover several most common types of embroideries which used most frequently. They are traditional embroidery, 3D embroidery, Applique, Chenille embroidery and sequin embroidery.
The traditional embroidery is the flat embroidery, It just stitch your pattern on the clothing. you can see it on many types of garments.
So when you wanna do something special, protrude embroidery, go for 3D puff Embroidery.
There is an ever-increasing demand for 3d designs over the past few years, especially with caps and hats.
But remember, when you wanna do a 3D embroidery on your garment. Avoid using delicate and slippery fabrics with 3D puffs. You’d better choose consequently, thick, and stable fabrics are preferred.
OK, next is applique, which refers the addition of decorative fabric to a larger piece of fabric by sewing. You can decide the type of that pieces of decorative fabric. Put a piece of leather, denim, velvet on your garment then sew the edge. It is up to you. You see, the stitching on the outside edge of the fabric.
    Up, next is chenille embroidery.
Chenille embroidery is textured embroidery that is created by forming loop stitches on the top side of the fabric being embroidered. to create a raised, textured surface that just like carpet. It can use wool, cotton, or acrylic yarns to creates a unique texture that sets your embroidery apart from common, everyday embroidery designs.
Ok, lastly, let’s talk about Sequin embroidery.
A sequin is a disk-shaped bead used for decorative purposes. It’s an easy, super cool way to add that extra zing.
They are most often made from plastic. You can get different shapes, sizes and colors of sequins - you will be spoilt of choice.
But be aware, Embroidery do not suit for fabric that is too thin and stretchy. And It will not goes well if your Embroidery pattern is too small. Besides, embroidery cannot create pattern with gradient color.
Final thing, Cost of Embroidery. How to estimate cost of embroidery? The cost is closely related to the size, color of your pattern and type of embroidery you choose. The more complicated, the more expensive.
Alright guys, Wish this video helpful when you have a embroidery design. Tell your manufacturer what exactly embroidery you wanna do.
Ok, guys, which embroidery method you like the most, tell me. And again, wanna know more about clothing production, Don’t forget to follow our Ins and CZcams. Thanks and Bye.

You make it look so easy but a lot of work and knowledge goes into it. Extremely talented and has given me a new appreciation for having things altered. I will never complain again about the price for alterations.
