I missed them was in the checkout putting my card in and it emptied my cart and said sold out I was inky waiting 2 minutes also so just weird that ebay has sellers with 40 plus dolls 🤔I did get one from someone who had 2 but it was still more then the original not a lot like I see them for 300. I'm hoping they will do like with pennywise and have a second release cause it seemed like the disney people plus all of us they didn't plan well.
Horrible release. Got on website 10 minutes early at exact time of release I immediately added 1 set and went to checkout. Made to wait 5 minutes at checkout and when it was my turn to pay they sold out. Bullcrap. I'm still mad if you can't tell 😂

Added to cart as soon as it ticked over and was still waiting in checkout line when it sold out 😢. Thought I was all good because I was in the line only to be told after the last two minutes of wait that I’d missed out. A fantastic point made above though, how did the resellers get so many dolls while so many legit collectors missed out!?!

I love the details on Sally's outfit, they made her headband and necklace the deadly nightshade/the flower she picks when she has the vision. And the heels are to die for
I love the way sally's eyes feel like they are following you when you're looking at her from a different angle
I understand they are modern interpretations, Just wish they looked more like the movie versions. Also wish the pieces were more high quality. Still a dream set to own for any MH and or Tim Burton/NBC fan

Love the editing lol! I am kinda surprised about how cheap the clothes are. I feel like all the money went into designing the dolls themselves and they ran out when it came to the clothes. 😂 They still look really awesome as a whole though! ❤

This set is sooooo captivating! The bloodbath drop was terribly painful but ty Jay for the PSA you made for Mattel to do better. I got mine from ebay for a lot more than retail but grateful to have Jack n Sally.....meant to be.
I just bought a G1 Operetta (Skulltimate Rollermaze) cus seeing Jay fix the girlies up made me wanna do it ILY❤❤
I really like how they did Jack, Sally looks fine to me but I agree..I wish they would’ve given her a really different style dress. And zero would’ve been perfect for the price point. I did not get them because I knew they were gonna sell out quick, but I happy for other fans that got them ❤🦇
This doll looks truly amazing and I know these sold out fast seems like there at a 200 dollar price point kind of pricey but if your a nightmare before Christmas fan like myself you might consider getting this

Sally looked tall to me and I was really hoping she had a unique body sculpt or like the taller Draculaura body they had for that one Amazon limited release. This set is still beautiful though. I agree with you that for almost 100 dollars they could have given us a bit more.
For $90 why couldn’t they just give a new bag sculpt for Sally
Garrett Sander compared the bag to other existing spool bags and said that it IS a unique sculpt, even if it does look like other bags from previous lines. I agree with you that they would have been better off with a different bag entirely.
@@SonniDez oh my god. It’s gen 2 Frankie’s pet doll’s bag but with less to it. They actually removed a little t shaped part that was in the middle of the bag. It’s a gen 2 design with even less detail.

Ngl, Sally’s kinda boring, her dress is cute and the details are cute but I’m not living, jack is clearly the star, I got my dolls a few days and I’m literally obsessed with Jack I think I have a crush, I do wish they tailored jacks outfit more, they put a piece of plastic in his suit to make it look more filled out and give it shape when they could’ve just tailored his suit better, I literally had to rubber band and and pin his jacket together to make it look sleeker, but overall I love him, I kinda wish the set had Zero in it, like that’s a HUGE miss, like all the accessory pieces they could’ve included but they didn’t include Zero??? That’s unserious

Yes, I was able to get them and I can’t wait to open them, however I am keeping them in the box for now as holiday decoration❤ The nightmare before Christmas is definitely one of my favorite movies so I was happy they finally got dolls!!! But it was definitely the first time I even tried getting a skullector because I don’t like the process

i waited 7 minutes in line. didnt get it. when i added to the cart it said it was empty. added 2 on accident. deleted one. finally got to check out. waited those 7 minutes. sold out. they shouldnt put you in line if everyone in front of you cant buy 2 and still have at least 1 for you. its so dumb and im tired of bots and scalpers and greedy people who grab 2 or have multiple accounts open
I love sally but i was disappointed in Jack. To me it felt like he's just a generic jack doll, not monster high, idk i feel like they played it safe by keeping him so close to the movie, but i guess at least they didnt mess him up. I personally like sallys dress but i agree they need to mix it up with silhouettes overall
Yeeess! Felt the same. Skullector dolls to me are monster high dolls cosplaying horror characters. This is just any jack doll out there , wish he looked like the other mansters.
I came here for a question for you and any others who may have some info. I am a Stevie Nicks fan and the Stevie Barbie was supposed to come out today. There were some preorders a while ago (sold out). I thought she would be “widely available” today. I can’t buy it on Mattel, Amazon and sold out on Target. I’ve never bought a doll on opening day. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I like the idea of this set but the outcome of them looks a bit like at home monster high custom. The don't look BAD but with that 90 dollar price point def could of tried harder on the overall look of them clothing wise and for jack, structure wise. Jack's head & body lowkey look like prototype.
While I want them to make these dolls have a more affordable price point I think if they have to price it up maybe 20-30 dollars more to improve some things to make them perfect collector dolls, I think they should

I thik people probably thought her body was g2 or a g2 doll is because her sculpt color is really close to frankies g2 doll but th stitches look similar to g2 frankies stich colors. but its clearly a newer g1 body

Lately, ive found myself very interested and your videos make it very accessible to anyone hobbyist or not. This collab and the off white ones really grabbed my attention.

do you know why they make collector dolls that are G1 but they don’t make any for kids that are G1?I just don’t get it.
They cash in a LOT on adults who still have a lot of nostalgia for G1. Kids these days probably don’t know of G1/aren’t as attached to it. The G3 dolls are still cute imo I collect some of them (still hoping they include stands one day) but I suspect that they kind of hold G1 bodies and molds as nostalgia bait/were trying to keep them “rare” to excuse the price on them.

Love this set but i think Sally is the favorite here. Of course because Monster high but i hope though the clothes quality of skullector dolls are high and also accessories and the important articulation. I love it but the quality of the clothes sucks i wish they stop using mermaid gown design stuff.

It's a Monster High Collector doll. It's to be expected. The only one that actually looks like a collector doll to me is Vampire Heart. Cool that they actually sculpted a new body for Jack.

Idk how this is considered a Monster High doll… Jack looks like all the other Jack dolls that you can buy from Disney at a better price & Sally doesn’t even look like herself she passes off more like Emily from Corpse Bride. Disneys version still better if you really want a real Sally doll… oh well. 😵💫🫠
sorry this was 90 dollars..? its a cool collab but i agree with you that at that price point they could at least use higher quality material and build the clothes a bit better (finished hems, separated items when they should be etc). the weird satiny material isssss probably just printed polyester with a bit of a shinier finish maybe? idk,,, also im so sorry im just not a fan of jacks black/orange striped vest or sallys same patterned belt, they just look tacky and dont fit well with their respective outfits ;-; i quite like sallys dress i think it looks suitably dark and patchworked like she made it herself for a special occasion and the black/orange belt doesnt really match the colours from my perspective :[ . but i love the dress' overall colours! the warmer, brighter colours of the top piece vs the muted dark colours of the skirt itself looks really nice and the tiered lace trail looks elegant and pretty :]] . her shoes and accessories incorporating her potionmaking from the movie is really cool but i do wish her headband, necklace and shoes had a tiny bit of paint or something on them because it looks so obvious that theyre just plain printed black with no additions,,, and jacks very unique body sculpt is really cool!! i imagine some doll customizes might want him for art purposes lol. very cool that they exist but if i knew anything about sewing and also had these dolls first thing i'd do is get rid of that vest of jacks lol . sorry for the ramble!! cool video :]

I propose that the monster high communities boycott this person or people on eBay that buy these dolls and turns around and sells on eBay for triple the original price. So if the one person some got their greedy, grubby little paws on 40 + boxes of Monster High dolls, they would end up spending $3,852 tax included. Plus however many extra boxes of dolls. If the monster high adult collectors, just refused to buy from this one person. They would be out all of that money, and they would have 80 plus dolls that they didn't want in the first place. Now imagine if the monster high collector did this to all the people on eBay. It would be hilarious. But I am also not a collector of these dolls, I just have a lot Monster High dolls in poor condition because I was hoping to get into ooak doll repaints and repairs. I typically leave the nicer dolls for the kids and adult collectors. I wonder if Mattel employees are doing this? Makes ya wonder how someone got their hands on 40 plans boxes. Now these Jack and Sally dolls i do love and had my eye on them. I do collect some dolls.
