it's actually simple but takes some work time , he has spotters with binoculars on land and high roofs they target a cop till he uses the code , they tell him or send him a visual , he waits for some minutes just to not make him suspicious that he just pulled his phone and might've been seen by someone, then he goes to him and does this

See the reflection on the screen which shows the smears of your finger and shape. If he has been doing a lot of checking backwards and forwards thanks to being on call/duty, there shldnt be too many issues seeing it

He could have also look at the guy moving his finger when they are chilling to determine the order. Then use the finger smear to determine the number. Through this reverse logical sequence, he can find the number and the order.
@@EKULvideos the first digit will be the clearest, and as the oil rubs off on each, you can tell which were chosen based on which are more apparent.

If you see 4 fingerprints and pin code is 4 numbers, number of possibilities is 24 (4*3*2*1), if you see 3 fingerprints and pin is 4 numbers, it means one number repeats so possibility is idk... I should also not sleep in math classes, but probability 10000 is when you have no informations about numbers (10*10*10*10)

Not even close. If you know the four digits, as you would if you saw four distinct grease prints, then there’s only 4!=24 possibilities for how they can be ordered. If there’s three prints, then it’s actually slightly harder with 3*4!/2=36 possibilities, assuming you don’t know which of the three digits is repeated. Two prints is easier, with 2*4+4!/2!2!=14 possibilities, accounting for both the 3-1 and 2-2 cases.
I just spent way more time than I care to admit working that out. Long time no stats.

My guess is that maybe there are barely visible prints on the numbers of the code. Though as far as i know they can be really seen only in graphic code. I know about jt because police in Russia sometimes use this technique to unlock someone's phone.
@@user-hi6tw8be1c This is most likely the case. If you pay attention to the motion of his finger, the passcode couldn’t have been a very complex combination of digits. It very well could have been “8888”
I think, maybe the phone has a Face ID unlock, and it unlocks because the person looks at it briefly before handing it over? I mean, besides that, yea the prints, but you still wouldn’t know the order.
Zoom in or simply spy on the cops while they are on break either in their car or out getting a coffee.

With 4 prints on different coordinates, you can make multiple patterns with that. So it doesn’t make sense that it’d be the prints, because he so confidently got it on the first try. Idk, this just blew my mind. I can’t even begin to understand it.

He look at the officer finger when he is relaxing in the car to determine the order before finding the the number.

the crucial part was asking for the officer's name. when you convert the first four letters of Geoffrey into numbers, using the standard phone keypad code (ABC=2, DEF=3, GHI=4, etc), GEOF becomes 4363. it was an educated guess, it's not going to work every time but when it works it's golden. i pulled this same trick on a guy in high school and all his friends thought i was a mind reader
