In reference to Lionel Messi becoming the first player in MLS history with five straight matches with multiple goal contributions (goals or assists), I believe there is an error in that assertion. In the game against Colorado, he had only one goal contribution by scoring one goal and had no assists.
You are right I went to the stats and it shows he had an assist on his stats but then I rewatched the highlights against Colorado and he has a goal and he passed the ball which then was assisted for a goal. MLS makes things up
