  • Last week I was able to fly from the city park in Cathlamet, WA. A weather front was coming on shore so it was really windy. The Mavic Air is able to handle the winds which were about 9 knots strait off the river. I was able to record a commercial fishing boat coming into the Elochaman Slough Marina.
    Hope you Enjoy. Joe

ORGANIZED CoNfUsioN thanks Dave I was trying out my new antenna on my Mavic Air controller, made by 4Hawks. It really has improved range. Thanks much for watching.

Beautiful footage Joe. Great flight and edit. That captain of the boat must have thought ..."Hey!! Who's following me?" 🤣😂👍 Well done Sir!! New Sub Here!!

Nice one, Joe! Thinking about squeezing in my fifth wheel in one of those campsites on the water in sept if things calm down a bit. Really a nice hometown you have there. We usually bypass you guys for fort Stevens and Astoria, but your vids are making me want to camp and kayak there!

Lovely and smooth flight! My husband thinking of getting mavic air as well. Now we have mavic mini. Do you recommend mavic air?

I have the original Mavic Air, it is much like mini as far as connection via Wi-Fi. I would recommend the new Mavic Air 2 as it uses occu-sync and has a 10K range. Not that you would fly that far, but the peace of mind of staying connected at all times. It also has much better camera.
