We had a string of Ws but we are taking a lot of recruiting Ls right now. Hopefully they can turn it around.
@@yellowblackbird9000 Gotta close with Olesh and then Wright. Hopefully Marsh decides in August, if not then that just gives more time for other teams.
Good job MST! Let’s go team 145, 146 & 147!!! ❤❤❤
Kenneth Grant will not take kindly to being omitted...
He's the grim reaper
Agreed. I think he'll have a monster year.
I like the fact that they gonna piss Grant off
Thanks again for being consistent with the updates
Go blue baby!
I hope jaydn davis gets playing time
@@PylmanFamily We may see him towards the end of games, but I think he’s going to be like how JJ McCarthy was his freshman season. Just have to learn the system this season and get ready to be the starter next season.
Lol why?? Him redshirting is more important.
Let's go blue!
Thanks for the updates bro!
Anytime! Thanks for the support, Go Blue!!〽
@@MichiganSportsTalk always!
I always look forward to your reports. Go Blue!
The RB room is set for years. Dono and Kalel will do a stellar job this year. After that, we have Marshall, Hall, Cabana, Kaapana, Johnson, Parker, and possibly even Savion Hiter and/or Javian Mallory. It makes me giddy just to think about it.
I'm excited about the whole team GO BLUE
2024 class as a Whole is very underrated. Especially on Defense. CB Jo'Ziah Edmond, Edges, Lugard Edokpayi, Devon Baxter and Dominic Nichols. SafetyJacob Oden is a baller. And my sleeper is DT, Deyvid PalePale. Watch their development. Go Blue!

Recruiting news…
Can you say Riley Pettijohn? 💥
Look him up.
I think it would be hard for a freshman to crack the lineup on this team. If anyone did I would say Marshall. Too bad we've slowed up on our recruiting. I hope we have surprise or 2 coming. Thanks for the update.
Go Blue!
I think Wafle and Sullivan could definitely get on the field on defense
@@tatertots0046
Agree they are 2 solid recruits. Especially Sullivan.
@@richhopson6063 Jordan Marshall is going to be a beast here, can’t wait to watch him. Gotta land Olesh and then Phillip Wright. Go Blue!!〽️
@MichiganSportsTalk
Yep, Marshall is going to be special. Definitely a Corum type player.
Edge Dominic Nichols looks like he can play right away and I've got high hopes for CB Jo'Ziah Edmond to make an impact early in his career. I also like OT Andrew Sprague and think he could make an early impact on the two-deep even though I'm fine with Jeff Persi and Raheem Anderson being the top backups along the O-line. Of course Jordan Marshall could be a big contributor early too.
@@freeheeler00 I was going to mention Andrew Sprague but I don’t know how much he will play. He’ll definitely add some good depth though and should be a big contributor in 2025.
Everyone was saying NIL is killing us. It isn’t that. It is our poor closing of recruits.
@@charleshicks299 Which, a lot of times, comes down to NIL. It’s hard for recruits to pass up on a bag…
Everybody has to understand and relax that Michigan has a very high standard in education meaning the very high GPA expectations. So although these might look like we missed out on a bunch of talent maybe they have the talent but they don't have the GPA to get into Michigan or stay at Michigan. Snot because of our recruiting a lot of times it's because of the kids don't have the smarts to stay at Michigan. If Michigan wants to be like Ohio state Alabama then they have to lower their GPA. Then that means that that degree that you have at Michigan does not hold the high regards as it does now if you lower the gpa. So yes it may look like we're losing out on a lot of talent but maybe the talent don't have the head space that they need to be at Michigan. Go blue
That’s not true. Michigan follows the same basic NCAA eligibility standards as OSU and Alabama according to the athletic department’s website.
If you have a source that says otherwise, please share it.
I believe grant will be a first rounder too if he comes out this year
Graham 1st team and grant 2nd watch both be 1st by seasons end
Random thought kind of off topic but When it comes to Babalola I wonder if Hinton has had a conversation with him about why he transferred from Stanford to Michigan. Hinton was a top 75 recruit according to 247 composite and the number 6 OT in the class and by the time he transferred he was only 141 overall and the 12th OT in the portal and is behind in his development. I get the academic aspect, and Stanford is better, but Michigan is quite a bit better factoring in both academics and football.
Marshall and Brady and Cole. 3 freshman that could play early and often.
〽️💪🏼🏆
If Michigan doesn't start paying up, we will fall behind. Look at how Ohio can go into Texas and Florida and get the best players out of those state's, it's not because Columbus is an amazing town.
Mason got snubbed.
why they sleeping on kevin grant !!!!!
#GoBlue
I still don't know what happened with Mike Heart
Dayvid Palepale and Owen Wafle
Revenue sharing starts next fall. So no later then the 27 class will Michigan finally have a NIL plan for all players.
Michigan has a reported 16.3 million in N.I.L. money, the 6th most in the county. They just need to recruit better.
@@NattyTime517 They just don’t pay recruits like other teams do, that’s the problem
@@MichiganSportsTalk I hope you are really not that delusional. Last 2 years maybe, but they would be getting NOBODY this year with that approach.
@@NattyTime517 If Michigan actually paid recruits straight up to go to their school like other programs, they would be getting top 5 classes no problem. They’ve won the Big Ten 3 years in a row and just won a natty, why do you think they haven’t had top ranked recruiting classes the past 3 years?
@@MichiganSportsTalkbruh Michigan recruiting been 3rd tier way before nil. No top recruits wants to play for Michigan period
@@montrellbradshaw1399 No top recruits want to play for the 3X defending Big Ten champs and defending national champions?
Hopefully Michigan can finish inside the top 20 recruiting class at this point. Pretty much missed on a ton of big targets now. I believe we’re up to 5 now, so that’s pretty horrendous honestly. It’s Moore’s first season as head coach and lot of staffing changes so there is leeway but very disappointing.
Problem is we haven’t recruited overly well the last couple years, and I have very reasonable doubts at this point that Michigan will not continue with their current level of success as things stand. They need to recruit at a higher level. Not top 5 every year, but top 10-12? I mean come on, that’s pretty reasonable for a program like Michigan. Very disappointing that we’ve missed on so many top targets in a matter of like 1 week.
You say there is leeway in Michigan not getting recruits because of the coaching changes but that’s the main reason why we lost some recruits. Guarantee you if Harbaugh stayed, we would have locked in most of them. That’s just how it goes though. Sherrone Moore has to prove himself as a good head coach before these recruits commit to Michigan.
@@donovanjohnson3947 I think certainly Moore and the staff is doing what he can. They are in the midst of great change. It’s disappointing considering Michigan’s recent success, but again, ton of change going on.
If Moore struggles for 1-2 more seasons after this, then that is much more telling. Give him some time certainly, but I just don’t want to see Michigan fall off the wagon here. We don’t need to go undefeated every season. By the same token, I don’t want to see us go 8-4 regularly either.
@@MBlue-sk4tr Agreed. I hear you.
Well we had a MAC level recruiting operation going on under Harbaugh and he still brought in 3 top 10 classes with his name alone. I fear that Sherrone Moore won't get the assistance he needs to compete with that when we're down a legendary coach.
Personally I think releasing a top 13 is a little silly. Why not wait for the top five at most. But these are kids and they want to have fun.
@@stevepearson4522 I can see why you say that. Although, I think recruits sometimes get overwhelmed with how many teams/coaches contact them and how many options they have, so they just narrow it down to prevent that
To the Ohio fans obsessing on Michigan channels on the daily:
Connor Stalions hadn't been hired yet by Michigan when the 2021 game was played and he was long gone by the time the 2023 game went down. This leaves only the 2022 game for which your own coaches say they changed their signs.
You were legitimately 3-peated. Stop being babies about it. 👶🍼
Nothing huge about recruiting. It's the same old story every year.
Its really doesn't matter the talent level, sports is rigged because of betting. Remember the Miami Georgia Tech game last year.
I actually think Dunlap is RB3 right now not Ben Hall.. Marshall I think will have an impact right away & start next year.. he has a college body already.. I think CB Josiah Edmonds may see some time as well
No way. wouldn't surprise me if Ben Hall was splitting evenly with Dom and Mullings by the end of the year
Stop basing it off the spring game. You can't extract anything from the spring game.

We haven't had a top 10 class since 2019. This poor recruiting is the norm for us unfortunately and that's why we can't be like GA, Ohio, or Bama. We thought NIL would help us achieve consistent top 10 classes and we were wrong. Revenue sharing won't help us either. Realignment is bringing in more programs that are willing to spend and they WILL supplant our position in the Big 10 pecking order. It's sad to know but they clearly don't care. Michigan is simply content being good once in a while 🤷
🗑️ Recruiting as usual 😒
Idk what the huge update is. I see the same poor recruiting as usual
I never understood bringing our replacements into the conference either 😂
@@human395 Can't even get a recruiting bump after a championship. Yeah you're right about us bringing in our replacements. Why don't any of the "journalists" ask this staff why nobody wants to play here?
Let me guess, they will say "this class is so underrated" 😂
Can't get the guys all about the bag and themselves obviously Michigan has been getting their guys y'all call it missing out but some might not be a fit in different ways and the university ain't gonna come out and blast them and say ya they ain't for us I mean ya we gonna lose some but I bet most aren't a culture fit and they ain't gonna just say that
will johnson and colston Loveland are the best at there position but I feel like there is a argument that pound for pound graham mason might be the best over all player in college football. I know qb is the most important position but inside d line is a extremely hard position to fine grate players
