Above 5 years age, we don't use malnutrition terminology. We label either underweight or undernourished or poor built & nourishment accordingly. For treatment, we have to advise high protein and calories diet with all micronutrients till reach to normal weight and built.

I got answer from my pediatrician mam...... in SAM baby we can not given iron in first 7 days due to complication of gastritis for the baby.
