Kent State QB Dustin Crum
Junior 6’3 201 lbs
Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert & Jordan Love were all drafted in the 1st round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Next year’s draft might have an even better quarterback class. Trevor Lawrence is viewed as the top overall player while Justin Fields is right behind him with NDSU QB Trey Lance also getting a lot of hype recently. As good as those QBs are, Kent State QB Dustin Crum might have the strongest arm in the country. There’s a lot of similarities to Bills QB Josh Allen from the cannon arm to the underrated running ability. Currently, Allen & Patrick Mahomes arguably have the strongest arms in the NFL, but Crum can hold his own among those two when talking strictly about arm strength.

Kent State QB Dustin Crum has a cannon for an arm, which he uses to throw a beautiful deep ball down field. Last year, Crum threw for 2,622 yards & 20 TDs with just 2 INTs while also rushing for 707 yards & 6 TDs.

Thank you for the that i asked for
So he is a 2021 draft pick?
But I've heard of him
Awesome video. Isaiah McCoy next?
Honestly his arm strength is average at best. His release takes too long because he has to wind up so much to put velocity on the ball. Even then his passes tend to float.
Drafted him in madden 21. Def a steal in the 7th round lol 95 arm strength 82 speed 70 ovr and has dev traits
That "That'll work!" from outta nowhere tho🤣
Some of the most pretty throws I’ve ever seen gonna add to the watch list
I agree . On time...with some touch as well
This guy would be a good developmental NFL QB. Tall, athletic, extremely accurate, and a massive arm. I’d draft him! Also, Isaiah McKoy is definitely a future NFL receiver.
His throwing mechanics sort of remind me of Philip Rivers.
Appreciate you putting up reels for small school QB’s. Hard to find good footage online. Need to see more of this guy, but I am definitely intrigued
Love the arm talent! Has a very quick release. Mechanically reminds me Philip Rivers. This Kid has huge upside. I’ve seen him a few times. Thanks for posting.
Doesn't look like it from the thumbnail but damn dude can sling it
At 1:52 he throws a 65 yard pass that hangs in the air forever so his arm is definitely strong
Kid looks to have a little Josh Allen in his game, only more accurate. Could be an exciting developmental prospect.
More accurate than Allen? You obviously haven't watched him this year. 70% comp 27TD 7INT through 10 games... Try again.
@@dancarpentieri7762 he means in college
Steelers late round pick
@@samrosendahl392 ah, gotcha. No argument here then. Allen was pretty wild in college. It's actually amazing he leads the NFL in comp % from inside the pocket. I thought for sure he would be a bust.
Isiah Mckoy tho. Dude looks like a beast. Both of these dudes are definitely future NFL players
The Steelers signed McKoy! They LOVE MAC players, especially Kent State. Jack Lambert, James Harrison, Rosie Nix, Dri Archer.
Philip Rivers with mobility. Perfect for TB.
THANK YOU x3 For my Alma Mater love. This guy has talent A whamo arm. Gotta catch his act.
I see a lot of Matt Leinert even some Mark Sanchez. He’s practice squad at this point
Looking like a young Big Ben tho
I was thinking the same thing and Pittsburgh likes there MAC players
yeah
This kid could be a steal as a project qb in the later rounds, like 6-7
My brother goes to his school
That reciever is really good
a handsome Qb who is projected to go undrafted. Sounds like a New England Patriot to me
CFL
That kid throws a nice ball, intermediate, deep, short, but in all these clips he is never under duress. I want to see some throws with someone in his face.
he was my high school quarterback, the best in my county's history
and i know his family
Interesting prospect to watch for next year’s draft class. Crum will be back in 2021 for his final season at Kent State.
CRUM HEISMAN SZN THIS YEAR BABYYYYYY
So how's his accuracy on throws less than 20+ yards? Didn't see any of that in this video...
Not bad not bad at all
Crum is my favorite QB in this class. He’s Jimmy G with a bigger arm. I hope my titans can pick him up late
He went undrafted. However he was signed by Kansas City shortly after the last round the same day the draft ended.
The way he say Isaiah mckoy lmao
This title is pretty funny. If there is someone out there with a stronger arm that I've never heard of, I wouldn't know it.... Because I never heard of them! Lol So it's automatically accurate.
QB is Athlon's 2021 preseason First Team pick. With a few good transfers he should stay Golden.
Kid makes the QB position look easy and the accuracy is stupid
Do one for Kyle Trask
With all different unis via under armour. They are the Oregon Duckies of East of the Mississippi
Question with QB draft class is better 2020 or 2021!
Steelers should snag this guy up!
yeah
Pittsburgh Steelers will pick up this QB
Where’s Kennedy Brooks ☹️
Steelers in the mid rounds
yeah
it's crazy as a WFT fan everybody is willing to sell their mother for Trey Lance and I'm like " hey Dustin Crum is coming out next year he could go a lil later where we'd have a shot to get him" and all I get are Boos and hisses lol come on multiple years of production does the same thing just a tick slower as a runner
I'll say this who is this kid come out of nowhere he is the strongest arm with insane mobility with a gifted talent i have never seen like this before this is one of NFL's unknown Dark Horse really love this dude can really for Kent State whoa he's gonna be something in NFL
His major is aerospace engineering. Not communications. I'd draft him off that alone. Dude is smart and athletic.
This kid should take advantage of the free year in 2020 granted by the NCAA and transfer to a bigger school in need of a QB. Perhaps wherever his OC goes as that guy will be looking to make the jump to a P5 conference.
He’s staying in Kent
hes given kent state their first bowl win ever he is a legend in kent
He’s got a hitch in his release. And I’m not seeing the velocity some see.
Look no further than Tebow (obviously not comparing the two). Liked his stats and was intrigued but an NFL DB sees that and is already reacting. Bummer. Maybe it can be corrected
I don't see a laser arm
...but he can lay it out there, like a Kirk Cousins
My dawg a chief now
Get on it Sean Payton
He’s like Andrew Luck
dude's gonna be a Detroit Lion
Either a Lion or a Bronco
@Matthew Gudino thats fair. But Rodgers got one more shot in GB....
I’m very confused. His arm is good, but arm strength-wise, if he made it to the league, he’d be average at best in that category.
Uh no. He wouldn't
Raiders Raiders Raiders!
Some of the absolute worst defensive back play I've ever seen.
First time mactioning?
mobile tom brady lmao
do you make money on CZcams?
He went to the highschool I go to know
Now*
So he’s going back to school for another season huh? Too bad, wanted to see my Bears scoop him
A poor man's Aaron Rodgers.
Dustin crum = Jared Goff
Looks like a running back if anything!
🤑🤑🤑 gunslingers
1 read QB with a big arm vs absolute trash bag dbs.
He's going 3rd overall then
@@washingtoncommandcenter5541 lmaoo
strong arm but his mechanics are so awful
I’m sorry. I love Kent St. my daughter went there with these kids. He’s a good QB, but I don’t think he has a strong arm. His ball shoots out then hangs. It’s almost like he’s throwing a change up. The nose of the ball stays up.
I’m 42 and still have a stronger arm than this kid. Shouldn’t be NFL material. Not being rude at all.
Strongest arm? Not even close. He has a slow delivery and poor mechanics. He's not an NFL QB.
