When you were polishing the top with the Novus series products, what buffing pads were you using for each level of Novus 3 and 2. Having problems with my polishing to totally clear. Thanks Beautiful piece.
Very nice project, I would have preferred to be able to remove the lights in case they died on me (as LED does not last as long as some think depending upon where and how made) but, this is really nice!! Nice video too!:)
just a sugestion i get this videos quite old but ducting tape the aliminium tape used for air ducts i think it would work good to keep it from runing over the edges
I have a coffee table that the top is on the base, and I want to spray paint the stump gold and refinish the top. Do you have any suggestions? My table is over 20yrs old, and the top Is scratched. Thank you.
I don’t see why not. I would just put protective layer on the metal to keep it from rusting. Unless that is something you are going for. Everything else is water proof so you should be fine.
Maybe try some wax paper on the bottom of the project so you do not have to pound the top off and risk breaking it...:) Or use some beeswax on the board then put on your project.:)

I think the resin layer might not be thick enough, because if you look at it, the wood is very weathered.
