Bob Barker never once referred the man yodely guy, only as the mountain climber.
This would be an easy game if you just remember the prices always go higher on the three items...though I wonder if some contestants purposely blow the game just to see the poor mountain climber fall off!!

I wish the term "Yodely Guy" was never said. Also, there should be a rule against bidding just a dollar higher than the last person
To put a rule in pace that says you can't bid a dollar higher than the last person makes no sense. You could bid, for example, $800, then I bid $801. Only to find to out that your $800 bid was a perfect bid, and I'm $1 over.
Then people would just bid $2 higher.
"Yodely Guy" was Drew Carey's reference to the mountain climber character. This channel is just appropriating it to seem relevant to today's TPIR viewers.
Actually, I believe the climber fellow was once referred to as "Sven" during the Barker era of the show, but I could be wrong.
