I work in a iron minee as an infrastructure engineer. We have exactly same setup. We have 6 ILL & 4 MPLS connection. They all terminated at the WAN switch where there are VLAN created for each connection. Each vlan has 3 or 4 port assign to them. For ILL it's 3 , one for ISP line and 2 for both the primary and secondary firewall. For MPLS it's 4 port. One for ISP linkk, 1 for router, 2 for both the firewall.

Will Configuring the HA settings on FW1(Primary) cause a reboot for any reason?

the IP is set and is staying with the active firewall, the overrite comand makes the slave primary
