Yesss I love seeing readers’ TBR stacks! It helps grow my TBR, can’t let that start to wilt can we 😂🌱📚
Hahaha omg so true 🙈 I’m such an enabler
Mood readers club unite 👯♀️
It’s a curse I tell you 😩
Another mood reader checking in! I really love the idea of doing those TBR challenges. I also love picking my books out for them ahead of time and having a neat little list. But then when it comes time to actually read them, my heart wants what it wants! Maybe I can do it like you and treat it more as picking out options for myself for the month ahead, rather than a strict TBR.
Now for some questions for the Q&A. Forgive me (and ignore) if anything has already been covered on your channel. I'm a relatively new viewer who hasn't had time to watch the whole back catalog yet.
- Have you ever written/considered writing in a different genre? If so, which ones?
-What does your ranking of favorite genres to read in look like? Does it match what you actually read, or are your habits more affected by other factors (like research for writing) than by what you actually enjoy most?
-What's your favorite trope and your least favorite trope?
-Do you believe that any trope can be made likeable/work well if it's dealt with well, or are some just automatically out for you as a reader?
-What was your favorite book growing up?
-How do you prevent/deal with burn out? It seems like you're doing a whole lot of stuff!
To my point earlier, I'd love a little "get to know me" section during the Q&A video with answers to basic questions (day job, family, pets, etc) because as I said, I'm pretty new here!
I love all of these questions!!! Thank you so much. So happy to have you here 🫶
Ohhhh, I have Emily Wilde on my TBR as well. And I so agree about the mood reading. Forcing yourself to read something your mind picked out for you without consulting the rest of you and where you're at this month is the perfect recipe for burnout. 😩
Also, where/how did you find your writing group? I'd love to join one in my area as well, but haven't come across anything yet on my last Google hunt.
Exactly! Every factor matters. And that’s a good question - I’ll add it to the list for the Q&A video!
