I'm about to begin a pretty large piece. I've gone for a green and teal coloured inks, with same concept as you've done here as I love layers and the interest of the matte next to glass shine/marbled look with gold as well.

Question, was adding the sealer necessary since you only did one layer of ink? Or did I miss something?
Yes it was. Sealer stops the inks from reactivated again when the resin goes on top. If you don’t see the inks, sometimes they can change colour with resin.
Can you seal the textured paste and continue with alcohol ink on that?
I liked it better before you added all that white texture on top. I think it would have looked nicer if you added just a little amount. It covered too much of the underlying beautiful color patterns.
