- Spider-Man has starred in a lot of games, which meant a ton of great Easter Eggs for us to choose from! For this list, we’ll be looking at the coolest hidden details and moments across Spidey’s long career in video games. Our list includes Green Goblin's hidden stash in “Spider-Man” (2000), an "Army of Darkness" (1992) reference in "Spider-Man 2" (2004), Deadpool’s Pause Rants in “Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions” (2010), The Sanctum Sanctorum in “Ultimate Spider-Man” (2005), and more! The Lizard could also be in PlayStation Spider-Man 2 (2023), since Dr. Connors appears in a cut scene after the end credits in one of it's previous games

So basically, Insomniac's Green Goblin is going to have Detective Vision. That is legitimately terrifying, and make me look forward to it even more.
One Easter egg
In the PS2/PSP/Wii versions of Spider-Man 3, when Spidey confronts Morbius for the first time and exposes him to sunlight, the character acts dramatic and Spidey retorts that he's acting like a method actor
This one is weirdly coincidental considering Leto would play Morbius years later and people have complained about his method acting

It should be a requirement that Bruce Campbell narrates all Spider-Man games because he was one of my favorite parts of the video games based on the original trilogy
I Absolutely Love Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Friend or Foe. I love Josh Keaton being the Best of the Best Suitable Voice Actor of Peter Parker/Spider-Man from my Childhood Years.

When you look in the green goblins mask in spider-man ps4, the model number is the date the first comic with green goblin came out!!
One other detail I love from the Sanctum Santorum in Ultimate Spidey -- the back door is cracked open and you can see some purple magic leaking out the door. I know for a fact you can see it during nighttime segments. Not sure about the other times of day.

The prototype number in the goblin mask for the 2018 game is also an Easter egg to Green Goblins first appearance in the comics. I recognized it instantly when I played and it's still one of my favorite very hidden Easter eggs
At one point during when Mysterio is attacking the theatre in Spider Man 2, he says "You have no chance to survive make your time". This is a line from the infamous intro cutscene of Zero Wing, which spawned the "All your base are belong to us" meme.
I remember finding the hobgoblins secret stash in the crane when i was a kid bout 5 , im 27 now but brings back some good nostalgia 😁
Spider-Man is one of the few superheroes that can transition well into a video game can wait for his next adventure

Couple extra tidbits for Shattered Dimensions: Madame Webb's VA is the same one who voiced her in the 90's animated series, and Hammerhead's VA is the same one from Spectacular Spider-Man.

You should have mentioned the Spiderman 3 Easter egg, where in you can go inside Harry's apartment and explore Green Goblin's lair.
If memory serves TASM 1 had you do photo missions that teased various villains, including Hydro Man and Mr Negative
I couldn't initially recall if it was TASM 1 or TASM 2, cause both had photo missions, but then I remembered that one of the missions that weren't villain teases was to Photo one of the relief stations for the Cross Species Virus outbreak, though TASM 2's in mission photo challenges did include some villain teases.

There Is another Easter Eggfrom the 2002 Spider-Man: The Movie Game. When You destroy all the Razor Bats In the Level "The Razors Edge", don't follow the Compass to the Objective. Instead, head over to the first Building that appears In the Level's Intro Cutscene. After a few minutes, a UFO will appear hovering above It then proceed to shoot up Into the sky and fly away, leaving a glowing trail of lights. :) You can jump onto It If You're playing as the Green Goblin by repeatedly jumping up and activating Your Glider but It will push You off once It takes off.

You don't need to hack the Spider-Man 2 game to get that line. You can die in the tutorial when he tells you to jump off the building. That part is in slo-mo and im pretty sure he has a few extra lines if you just wait it out.
The 2000 Spider-Man game is chock full of Easter Eggs. There's an entire "What-If?" mode packed with pop culture references.
Does anyone else know how long Harry Osborn has been in that chamber full of water whilst bonded to the venom symbiote?
Around a year since the start of the game’s story.
Peter & MJ thought he went on a trip to Europe but it was a lie because Harry didn’t want them to worry about having the fatal illness that killed his mom.
@@Phanthief95 thanks also after witnessing the post credit scene from Miles Morales Spider-Man, Norman told Curt Connors that he wants his son out of there which is not only showing us that Venom will be in the sequel, but it’s also showing that Norman is clearly letting his emotions get the better of him.
he has no idea how dangerous the symbiote can be to others which is what Connors was trying to warn him, Symbiotes can’t cure diseases they just stop them from killing the hosts.
@@enderethan144 from what i remember he doesn't try using the simboite to make a cure for diseaseses. Osborn was developing the devils breath to try cure Harry and then the whole shenanigans whit Otto and Mister Negative

The Spiderman 2 narration with Bruce Campbell knew all of them. Brother and I laughed are arses off as kids back in the day. Would keep falling off the building to see what else he'd say.
Wouldn't it be awesome if they made a Shattered Dimensions-like open world spiderman game? Like seeing NYC in all 4 universes would be awesome. Probably a little too ambitious but I'd take a 1/4 sized Manhattan in 4 universes any day.
A game like that would be a development nightmare.

I’m more of a fan of Ultimate Goblin where he’s a beast. That helmet looks cool but most interpretations of the goblin are he looks like a freak, wearing a rubber mask or no mask and just has a deranged face. Ultimate has him as a big hulking monster with horns, considering all the genetic research Oscorp did, it make sense to turn Norman into a beast
I don't remember how it happened, but as a kid I remember hearing that "not so secret" secret line. I'm pretty sure it was fairly common for the game to bug out, and grab something you didn't try to web to. I definitely heard it more than once, but also have no idea how to hack a game now let alone as a kid lol. I don't think it was something that was meant to happen though, like I said the game bigged out fairly often, but even the games back then were nowhere near as buggy as games nowadays like cyberpunk, or the avengers game were on release. I think it's because they can just patch games every other day now they don't feel it's as important to finish the game before release anymore. At least back in the day the bugs would just be goofy, and make you laugh. They always fixed the game breaking bugs back then, and that's what game them heart back then.

That “Pain Factor” segment in Shattered Dimensions kind of reminds me of the Screwball challenges in Spiderman PS4
At least with the "Pain Factor" levels in Shattered Dimensions the Deadpool character was endearing in his own way. Screwball just pissed me off in Spider-Man Remastered that I just wanted to mute her voice outright.

Ultimate spider-man really had the best soundtrack. so lucky i got the special edition (i think it had extra costumes or missons or something i just remember the disc was symbiote style instead of the normal disc which was like normal spider-man style) especially the main menu theme slapped so fucking hard
