The Central District is definitely facing challenges from communities that once denounced and turned their backs. Now rediscovered beautiful homes and convenient location to downtown, transit and other attractions, have lead to major gentrification. There is a need for major efforts to protect and hold on to the community that Aftican-Americans have built. Support Black Businesses.

Stop hyphenating us, there is no such thing as a two continents person. Our federal status is Freedmen, in other words Juneteenth heritage. We are total Americans, those of us who are American freed slaves. All other niggas and bitches who moved in on my culture knowing they are Latin Blacks, Caribbean Islanders/West indians and Continental Africans try to use the "African American" term as their excuse to continue squatting in a nation they know they are not native in and have no federal rights in... Freedmen are under federal articles that no other lineage of Black people and their Mulatto/mixed relatives are under/covered by so proper delineation matters. Foreign blacks and their biracials who also have no business claiming American status did NOT GO THROUGH ANY OF THE SHIT THAT NATIVE JUNETEENTH FREED PEOPLE WENT THROUGH AND I AM TIRED OF HAVING THIS DISCUSSION. "BLACK TRAVEL" IN THE UNITED STATES MAINLAND NEEDS TO BE PRIORITY FOCUS UPON AMERICAN FREED SLAVES. THESE OTHER MFS COME HERE AND GET TREATED WITH HIGH REGARDS AND EVEN GET AFFORDABLE HOUSING FUNDS SPENT ON THEM THAT THEY KNOW IS NOT THEIR FEDERAL MONEY.

SUPPORT UNITED STATES FREED SlAVES BUSINESSES. NOT JAMAICANS, NOT ETHIOPIANS, NOT HAITIANS, NOT THESE OTHERS WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING HERE AND THE MALES OF THEIR CULTURES WHO FAILED TO BUILD THE SAME LEGACIES OR BETTER IN THEIR COUNTRIES,

Traveling while immigrant is different than traveling as someone who is a descendant of United States freed slaves. We are not all the same lineage so be specific next time. Which heritage are you? I'm looking for the actual true original Black heritage of Seattle and the whole country which is the Juneteenth independence ancestral group so unless you're that none of you should be speaking on lingering Jim Crow issues as it pertains to travel in the United States. Putting that out there!!!
