- Fourteen years ago, when he was 62, Elton John wrote a letter of advice to his 16-year-old self. At this year's Wilderness Festival, none other than Taron Egerton, who of course starred as Elton in Rocketman, joined us to read it.

Lovely but Rock and Roll requires some rocking and rolling to become an artist. I would hope a 16 year old Dwight would dismiss the words of an old man, make all the same mistakes and then produce all the same great tunes.
@bybodidotcom Sixty two year old Reg seems to believe, with hindsight, that his immortal tunes were there anyway. That he could have minimised his drug taking and infamous dummy spits. And instead ploughed into having more safe-sex fun (if you'll pardon the pun 😉).
