Braid the start a little bit before twisting. It helps the hair last longer. Also when it’s time to moisturize, squeeze the water & moisturizer in with your hands. Don’t rub up and down your hair or it will get frizzy quicky

I am wearing wigs right now trying to regrow my hair back after having emergency brain surgery 6 months ago. They cut off 1/4 of my hair in the front so when I got out of ICU and they sent me home I shaved the rest of it off. It is growing back which I am happy to see. I love the mini twists. I can't wait for my hair to be long enough to wear them.

I did mini twists too, they've been in for a little over a week. I love them but i have the same issue of twirling my hair too much lol .
Maintenance wise :
-Oil my scalp when it itches or if i feel led.
-Spray my hair with my concoction (water, rice water, aloe vera juice, lavender oil, peppermint oil, olive oil, tea tree oil and jbco )
- Then seal the moisture with my oil mixture ( same oils as above minus the lavender)
-Ofc wear a scarf or a bonnet to bed
I've done this whole routine once thus far but I oil my scalp more frequently. Anyways I always enjoy your videos, love from Trinidad

Rice water takes away all my itching and I use: softee mango mixed with sulfur 8 mixed with tea tree oil then moisturize my scalp; i use rice water once a month

same! I did this 2 weeks ago, it’s amazing how trimmed ends make your hair look & feel so much better.
Yes, as a new natural finding that out. I thought because I've kept it in twist, how bad could they get. But was I wrong. Have an appointment to get professionally done for the 1st time. Glad I realized sooner then later...your ends require lots & lots of care & attention.
I have Mini twist in nah. Been doing since march 2019 afta buying hair from Amazon. The chemical in the hair took the crown section out bigtime. Its filled in by October now it's growing. I give God ALL the glory for restoration...
I think I've had mine up for 3 weeks...I have done each section over though...I mainly redo the front. I keep it braided when I'm in the house and that helps them last longer and then you have a cute braid out

Every wash day, I say that I’m going to do mini twists but then they end up being small/medium because my arms be like, bish if you don’t get! 😂😂😂😂. Your twists came out super cute, though.
For maintenance, I spritz a bit of water & I use TGIN’s Butter Cream on my hair & then follow with Mielle Organics’ Rosemary & Mint oil on my scalp & hair as needed. & then I put my hair in about 6 jumbo twists, tie them down with a satin scarf, unravel the jumbo twists in the morning & my twists have a little curly look to them. I love it!
I trimmed my ends while in the mini twists. It helped a lot and I really got to see a little bit what wasn’t coiling at the ends and what really needed cut. I’ve had mines in for about a week and a half now and I steam my twists and then go in with Camille Rose Almond Jai and some JBCO. I go heavy at the ends and work my way up. I plan on retwisting this weekend
When you steam your twists do they fuzz and get poofy?

I’m really just now getting on the twist out game and mini twists are just calling my name at this point 😍 It’s a cute style and protective and you’ll have 2 hairstyles in 1 with the twist out at the end 😫!!
I like the fullness your twists gives you; it's a good look on you. My hair is fine so my twist don't come out too full but i'm still rocking them, will try smaller and not too much product, but I'm using the African Pride prods as well .... love'em!!!
with thinner hair make sure you braid them in a brick laying patter, it makes them look fuller
I just took my mini twist out this morning 😩 I had them in for 2 weeks & was over it once it started looking dusty. My hair is currently in a bun & wont be washed until Saturday lol
I am 35 and I swear I'm finding new gray hairs every day, lol. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your hair and your videos. I don't have the patience to do this though.
Your twists are so pretty! I wish I could wear them but I have fine hair with sparse density so mine are too scalpy and look ridiculous.

I have really fine hair at the center of my head so I try to do a lot of twists in that area to avoid looking scalpy.

Love it.💜✔👍🏾 I've been doing like 8 twist after wash and throw on my slap cap and that's my protective style I Spray water Mixed with leave in before I go to work in the Morning and every two day's I massage my scalp and edges with Haitian castor oil and that's my Routine.

I love twisting my hair, don't do them this small because they are meant to be untwisted but my last ones before these I kept twisted for a week got so many compliments.

I finally got some knotless box braids and I’m in LOVE!!! So light weight and natural! No headache and hella compliments!
I'm liking these mini twists! They turned out so good. Thank you for showing how you refresh them. I thought people just wore them until they felt like taking them down and washing them. I did know of someone who said she spent 5-6 hours every weekend on hers. That's not including the wash and shampoo. The way you do yours is way more reasonable. Btw, you may have to come up with a "Beautiful people crew" tshirt. I'd buy that.🙂
It looks cute! I just took my mini twist out. Wearing 6 twist now going back to mini twists soon. I always braid my roots then 3strand twist the rest, it lasts longer in my opinion. I am lazy so I always refresh my hair once a week with water, leave in spray, some cream & oil. 💕

This quarantine has me trying mini twists for the first time. I always wore braids, but I wasn’t taking care of my hair and I lost my braider, so since I stuck in the house, I decided to try to get my hair healthy and try mini twists, they are so short, so that doesn’t give me any styling options. Btw way your hair is gorgeous!! So that’s what I’ve been doing

Try a tiny bit of castor oil on them at night ♥️
Love the look! I use 3 techniques: at the begin with 3 - strands braiding with on thin strand, then I combine the thin strand to do a two-strand twist, and then I twist the ends.

I love mini twist. I refresh option is just to spray my hair with water and put some cream in my hair and oil my scalp I definitely do not undo the twist and retwist them so I am doing the lazy method

Once my hair reaches this length, it will look so much better for me to wear without a wrap. My front is to my nose, so I have a bit to go ++ now my ends need clipping. Her twist look very nice on her, they fit her.

I love your mini twists, they came out so good! I love the way this style looks on other people, but because I have such fine hair I never like the way mine look. I usually do about 12-15 small twists. I just wear them in a ponytail and wear a hat/scarf.
I never refresh them, by the end of the week they look so raggedy, I just take them out and wash and start all over again

My mini twists always turn into locs after a week lol idk of its because of my looser texture. With my tighter texture, it holds up

To refresh my twists I simply run mousse through them, making sure I get enough on the end so they curl back up. I try to do the least with mini twists so retwisting isn't a part of my maintenance.
