Hey Meghan! I hope all is well! Thank you for this video, I have been torn with adding this bag to my collection. The bag is a must for me because I know it will work for my lifestyle but I am torn with choosing the monogram or damier ebene. I like them both. I love a care free bag (no vachetta) which makes me lean towards the DE but I love the look of the monogram and its calling my name. My birthday is next month…I need to figure this thing out 😂 Thanks for sharing❤

Which one did you get? I have the same dilemma 😆. I also love the black strap on the mono, but a carefree bag (DE) makes it much more worth the price bc I’ll wear it more.
I had Speedy 25 in Damier Ebene and really wanted a Speedy 20 in the Ebene print too. I hope i can get it soon. Thanks also for sharing the word of God to be obedience to Him. Thanks for the reminder to me in God's words too. Now i am learning to talk to him wherever i am even in the train while i am on my way to work or home and whenever i fall short of doing what He wants me to do. Love your video.😍

This was a helpful comparison, thank you! I'm drawn to the 25 but I feel the extended zipper and the smaller size of the 20 may be better for my lifestyle.
That's how I feel! I really enjoy the 25, but the upgraded hardware, roomy interior, and extended zipper make a huge the difference 😍

I can’t make up my mind, I have a speedy 30 in DE and so I was thinking of the monogram in the speedy 20 however I am drawn to the DE because it is care free, I want both but I just got a new Chanel so I may have to pick only one. If you already have a speedy in DE, I think the mono would be a great option .. I love that bag!!

I just bought the Speedy 20 in Damier Ebene as my 1st LV bag and i love it! I was never an LV fan because I don't like monogram bags. I previously bought an Empreinte Diane thinking it was nice and subtle but i didn't love the leather and the blue lining so returned it. The Speedy 20 can hold so much and so chic with the wide strap.

I’ve been trying my hardest to decide on whether I should take the speedy 20 plunge. I have the 25 in both prints and love it but I keep seeing the 20 and everyone raves about it. If I take the plunge it will definitely be the monogram. That’s my favorite print. I say that and then I end up with both prints 😂😂❤❤

Wondering if you only stick to classic colors and not special/limited editions. I'm sure they will be bumping the price up soon. Been too long. I have 4 speedy 20s, my favorite new bag (Monogram is my fave, but also have the black Empreinte, & added the pumpkin and Monoglam one last year). Thinking of the monogram dune or the new damierlicious one. Love the extended zipper.😊

Thank you for this great review! I’m getting the Speedy 20 but I can not decide which print to get. What do you think of the new Speedy 20 in the Dune collection? I like the print but not sure if that black handle looks good on it.

I feel the same about the collection, though. I was tempted to get the pochette Metis east west but passed bc I'm not sure how to feel about the black.

I am very late to the party but I just got speedy 20 in damier ebene. The zipper pulls on mine have pink hue to them. Especially comparing to my speedy b 25. I am just wondering if that’s normal.

Hi! Your review helped me decide on this bag. Can I please find out from your DE pieces if the brown leather edges normally has glue? I bought this yesterday and saw some glue like material. Too scared to rub it off. 😅

It def doesn't bother me bc I only noticed it when I first inspected the bag

Is slipping your hands through the handles a tighter fit than than the 25 ?....wondering if the drop distance is shorter than the 25 handles ...the 25 handles are perfect, this would be a deal breaker for me, thanks in advance for your reply.
You can definitely fit your hand through the speedy 20 handle, but you're not gonna have as much space between your wrist and the bag like the size 25.
For that reason, I feel the 25, 30, etc makes for a better "Tote style" bag!
If possible, I would try on the size 20!

I have the 30 and kinda felt like it was a little too big for my body (I’m only 5’) although it was a great size for my belongings. Lol What bag do you recommend for someone with a toddler out of the infant stage? I already have the neverfull mm, graceful mm and the totally mm I’ve been using for a diaper bag for the last 5 yrs. Now that I’m carrying a little less I’d like a crossbody. I have the Odeon mm and love it. What do you think of the carryall mm? (I have it in the pm in leather for when I’m out with no kids). So looking at the mm in canvas since it can be crossbody too.
I have the 30 in the "classic" style and really enjoy it 🥰
I am so tempted by the empreinte carryall! I have the mono version, but I feel LV should have gone with a zipper closing like the leather version.
I mean, it's not that big of a deal, but I find myself fixing the straps a lot bc I enjoy my bag looking perfect 🙈
It's a beautiful option though..I would def try it on if possible!
Have you thought about getting a "onthego" bag? That's always another great option for a LV Tote 🥰
I love my speedy b 25 in mono BUT I rarely use it because I think it’s abit too loud and I don’t like to draw attention to myself. I refuse to sell it because I love it. I know it doesn’t make sense 😩😩😩
Haha..I don't use mine as often as I should, but I would never sell 🤩🤩
I like speedy 20 in monogram. Speedy 20 in DE is too much like Alma BB in DE, so that would be an either/or between these two. As to the strap - if it’s like the original without the buckle - it would be nicer as it’s really too heavy and the buckle sit uncomfortablely on the shoulder for certain body height. If it’s in leather or the one with multi Pochette accessoires, it would be much better.

I got the speedy 20 when it was first released, so it doesn't have an adjustable strap.
My DE version does.
It's hard to say, which I prefer more because I agree, my mono bag looks more smooth when worn "over the shoulder".. but I'm 5'8" and find the strap to be very short, so I use a chain extender when I wear it crossbody.
With my damier Ebene, I feel the bag looks so great as a crossbody (my fav way to wear it). It's not as smooth "over the shoulder," but I think it's still just as pretty when worn that way.
Overall, I think I'd go with the adjustable strap though! 😍
@@lvluxdelight Totally agree with you that the adjustable strap is more suited to taller persons. And I figure the position of the buckle will not be around the shoulder either. The design change has its reasons 😀.

Yes! But I think the strap on the Diane isn't adjustable ( I actually love that one, though bc I feel it makes the bag look better "over the shoulder"
I purchased my mono version when it was first released. At that time, it came with the non adjustable Strap like the Diane bag.
They revised it about 6 months later to an adjustable strap.
But overall, ya.. it's basically the same strap ❤️

Great review! I love my speedy 20 in monogram, agree with all your points. It’s an amazing and cute everyday bag. I sprayed the Vachetta with apple guard and it’s not as delicate as I thought it would be.
