- even though we love to stay booked and busy, we also love to take a day to reset for the week ahead. no way can we just keep going and going and going without taking a day for the little but important things. so we spent a day getting my life together, cleaning up our apartment from top to bottom, running some errands, grabbing some groceries, and making a warm and hearty Sunday dinner.

I love that you are getting into bread making! I have 2 easy, but delicious recipes that I should send to you. The pro move for bread leftovers is to slice and freeze because it stays basically as fresh as when it comes out of the oven!
I just got into this basic sandwich loaf recipe that is my go to now. Simple but so amazing especially for dipping into soup.
I used to watch a lot of CZcams videos and I completely stopped a couple months ago but damn when I get the notification that Alia uploaded a new video I’m here every single time and I’m never disappointed! I appreciate you so much!

Girl, I've lived in roughly the same area, like within half a mile, for going on 7 years now (I know because I recognize certain buildings, yada yada), and burn out comes with this area. It's a high pressure environment with a lot going on and a big emphasis on "keeping up". I love this area to bits and it makes me feel alive but it also comes with a lot of pressure externally that you then put on yourself. i am thinking eventually it's going to be time to move to brooklyn or somewhere quieter, but like you i have a serious case of FOMO and love being in walking distance of everything. warm wishes ✨
i’m thinking about moving to nyc as well. can you give me tips on places where it’s not too quite or too busy either? or just tips to moving to nyc since you seem like you know a lot! i’m from the midwest and i really just want a new change in my life after college which i finish around next year.

You should get an IKEA PAX wardrobe or similar for that wall where the dresser is. Use that vertical space. Its so hard in nyc apartments with barely any closet space. You'll always feel cluttered.

Your bread will rise more if u use a glass bowl for it to rest in and mix it with a wooden spoon. The metal kills the yeast. I also use instant yeast. You have to activate the dry yeast before adding it to the dry ingredients. I make a no knead bread often and love it
