Jerry Rice as a WR coach. Normally I'd say no because his son is on the team but Jerry is a special case and I believe he could make the entire WR room better.
Hardwick as an O-line coach is a no brainer.

Bro, I’m pretty sure perryman or someone else can learn it pretty quickly. Defense’s schemes are similar just like quarterbacks when they have to learn a different playbook. Some things are similar just different names called differently so before the season starts, I’m pretty sure veteran will have the green dot on

I've been a Chargers' fan since '79, so I guess I'm too jaded to get excited about mini-camp performances. Especially with regards to the offense. I'm more interested to hear what types of schemes they're practicing. Greg Roman has a long way to go towards making us less nervous about his play-calling...
Odunze was my fav of the three. I wanted Bowers most, then Odunze for pass catchers.
I really hope all of the rookies work out - because god knows we need every one of them to be successful and fill out roster roles.

I wonder...Who's idea was it for Jerry not to be so involved in Brendan's career? If it was the son, not wanting dad's name to influence things, then i am very impressed. If it was dad just taking a back seat for, who knows what reason, then I am less impressed. Hopefully it was the young Rice wanting to do things on his own, if that is the case...OH boy look out for this kid!

Last year was a product of a rookie,not expected to start. QJ was not getting first team reps in offense all off season cause Staley was not going to have a rookie play with his coaching career hanging in the balance.He was getting sporadic looks after being thrown into a pressurized situation with the season on the line ,for a wr and an offense catered to a completely different player/route tree / skill set. Herbert also missed four games at the end when he could have gained some confidence.Harbaugh will use him correctly .

I think coach was being sarcastic when discussing Junior and the Green Dot. He was telling the vets on defense that unless someone else steps up, Junior is the play caller. As should be I think.

Honestly, I think Darius Davis gets cut. The boy can't block, he is not a real receiving threat, and his ability in the special teams return game can easily be replaced

The Patriots had average wide receivers for their entire dynasty and lost the year Moss was on the team. Megatron had zero playoff wins in his entire career. The Chargers wide receivers are good enough to win a superbowl.
