Why all this mixing tutorials skip gain staging . You are supposed to use the channel rack volume knobs first , than the mixing faders 🎚️ last .
That knobs are useful only if you mix with analog gear and you want specific input value.
If not It's a waste of time, because you gain staging in your plugin while you are mixing.
They all have a volume knob.
Yeah it’s easy to mix anything when you have a single high frequency melody. The second you start actually producing beats better with progressions and proper sequencing, you’ll scream for help when you want elements loud without drowning out the drums.
