I wasn’t aware you could add cellular data cards to CCTV cameras, this is truly a stand alone security system. Even during a power outage or if someone cut your power. Kinda wish they had a camouflage version or brown. Great review Pete👍
Yes, in your "neck of the woods" a brown can of spray paint would definitely make it stand out less since it's white to the max!! When I had it on top of the light post it stood out like a sore thumb!! lol

This is ideal for remote locations. Just wondering can you use it with home wifi? If you need a data plan I’m thinking it can be expensive if used 24 hours a day.
It can't be used with wifi unfortunately. It is a unit that you don't stream video surveillance more than just to see what is going on and not something you monitor all day and with the push notification and the auto motion detect recordings, it does not use up much data :)

zoom doesn't really seem to zoom. seems like it just makes the same pixels larger?
I'm new to this technology. Does the sim card come with the camera? and if not how would I go about getting one in Canada, When you say contact your provider what does that mean as my phone is verizon so is that my provider?
You need to get a sim card either from your provider or some other provider and make sure it will be compatible with the camera. T mobile sim card works best.

Well it picks up movement on the width of my backyard which is about 25 feet.
@@RCEscape can I place it under a small flood light so that the night sensors don't actually kick in I can just use the flood light at night to get better picture quality?

I got a $30 one with unlimited data prepaid but there are $5 ones with limited data. Go to Walmart. There's all kinds.

That'll depend on how many times you "wake up" the device and stream video to your phone.

That would all depend of the amount of time you spend watching live feed.

sadly we do not have the best cell service here as well...SO looks promising will have to look closer at this product, does seem to fit my need as my entrance gate area is about 300 feet away where the cam is needed most

I have a prepaid $30 sim card with unlimited Data but with 100 minutes of talk time so it fits the need perfectly. I don't need no talk minutes but it was a better deal than some few hundred mb of data only for $10. It's a perfect surveillance device if you go traveling a lot or just to work. Leave it in the car :)

I think that REOLINK GO PTZ doesnt exist. Even in your box it shows only GO PT. This camera dont have zoom capabilities. Am I right?
If you watch the video at 13:00 you see the pinch to zoom.
What is the difference between GO, GOPT and GOPTZ?
Looks like what it is is that the go is non pan and tilt. The gopt is the same as the goptz except the name it still has the zoom so it should be goptz as well but it is only wifi so they just named it different.

I have such a camera and I am disappointed with the poor level of photography. In the photos I saw on CZcams it looked much better.
