We don't know that "green takes out red" until the bar is done forming. I've been faked out repeatedly by entering during bar formation only to get a shooting star instead of a green elephant when it's done.
You can wait til the moment the bar is done forming. Enter, and risk that one bar.
Wait 30 seconds before end of TF, regardless of the timeframe

- One-bar stop
- Playing with 20ma
- Entering near 20ma
I am not even using 200ma for now, just three rules with fixed targets of 2:1R

If you are entering right at the open, in the first few minutes, make sure to enter within the last 30 seconds of the bar. The closer you are to something that supports you, like the 20 or 200 SMA or the Fab 4, the higher your chances of having a winning trade

Just 1 question. Simple moving average or smoothed moving average? I see both these line up a little different
This is my problem and how I’ve lost so much money- not getting out when I lose a bar. I literally wait hoping it comes back my way and next thing I know I’m like 20 bars away and have lost $1000+ SMH I do this every damn time when I know I should cut. Then I get so angry with myself.
Place the stops immediately after you enter . Nice thing about Oliver technique is money management. You should always know your entry , exit from the beginning

Oliver, why do both moving averages have to be plat for the best entry, what is the theory behind this?
The 200 is better when is flat, the 20 is better when is rising or declining. Is not a theory, If the average of the last 200 bars is virtually the same, it creates price congestion or a very strong support zone, making it challenging to break on the first attempt. The same applies when the 20 is declining or rising
