The biggest tip I can give is, when you don't know what to pick and you are struggling... pick a brawler which you can both carry with, and can match up well against at least two opponent brawlers. It helps. A LOT. Another tip: don't even think about pushing beyond M1 if you don't have at least 10 meta power 11 brawlers.
My opinion about ranks in ranked: Bronze: you`ve just started playing, or reset has just happened, or maybe you don`t like this mode Silver: you`re casual player who has connection with life, in fact it`s easy to hit and even get out of this rank Gold: still not that hard, please prepare 12 brawlers with 9+ powers to go through the next league Diamond: average player, nothing special, or you`re trying to get mythic, but randumbs ruin everything Mythic: you`re a good player who stands out a bit and knows basics of BS (and thankfully there are less bad randoms) Legendary: you can call yourself as a pro player who stand out very much, maybe you decided to stop because you afraid of tilting and get down to mythic (but it`s technically impossible) Masters: you`re best of the best, you can finally stop and go touch grass
