    I use the finger method of annealing and i get over 35 full power reloads out of quality 30-06 brass. The dies you use will determine how many you get as well, some dies size too small. Loose primer pockets often have to do with the different manufacturers of primers making slightly different diameter primers and primer pockets. Federal brass goes loose quick unless you use federal primers for instance.

    Question for kent on brass when making a new cartridge out of an existing cartridge where the brass needs to expand near the base of the cartridge should the base be annealed or not?
