Also gotta love how both Jevin's team and Ren's team had fake advertisement segments completely independently
Favorite moment so far, picked up from Joe's POV:

i'm just loving how close everyone is, it really seems like people are prioritizing connections this season!
Last season was massive and pushed a lot of Hermits to their edge with some like Iskal having to take burnout brakes.
What really reignited that spirit of "group of friends having fun" in a lot of them was covering up Doc's base.
This season they're planning on taking it slow and chill and focus a bunch more on just having fun, not stressing about stuff.

My favorite moment in the season was in Scar's video, when he was talking to tango about how the great the autocrafter was as a decoration block, and you can just see tango wither and die on the inside.
It really is though! A lot of utility blocks are surprisingly great decor, like Smithing table ceiling and floors. I think my favorite use of a crafter as decor was in Cleo's house, she used it as a cabinet because of the handles and actually used the slots of the crafter for storage!
Showing the time-lapse of of yourself designing your initial build makes you appear so much more human. I love that so much more.

the way jevin handled that’s creeper at 11:30 was absolutely beautiful
That moment when you were just casually mining then turned to block that creeper blast, before turning back around to keep mining was just so nonchalant. I loved that.
Love how you’re showing a timelapse of the design process and not just the survival build!
I really enjoyed the timelapse, too! Sometimes we think you just build it first go-but there’s a lot of trial and error, try it and replace it in the process.
INSANE that Jevin just has 100% chill, bridging diagonally across like an erupting volcano, fighting creepers and skeles at 3 hearts, etc. That would all be like, a main focal point of most vids.
For a guy who has an ongoing hardcore survival series, Jevin was certainly taking a lot of risks during the episode. I was shocked that the group caving session wasn't when he died.
It's crazy how overpowered fullbright is. The visibility in the cave changes mining completely, but also takes away the tension of mobs waiting for you in the dark. Also the amout of ores someone without fullbright wouldn't have seen is crazy
One of my favorite moments in the first day of the server is not even 5 minutes into Scar's episode when he breaks the bell Doc needs and then later steals the second bell when they learn there is a second one. There were a lot of really good moments though.
New beginnings and new hermits. SmallishBeans(Joel) and Skizz join the hermits.
I love how multiple teams did a fake ad read while caving.
I really liked both timelapses! The "building on server" timelapses always look really satisfying, like watching hermits making legos from a set with instructions, but the planning and developing one here was also really cool to watch, seeing the process and such. Great episode, as always!

I haven’t made it through everyone’s episodes yet, but I’m loving the vibes and energy I’ve seen. It doesn’t feel like “new season, build build BUILD!”; it feels like everyone’s collectively decided to just let the season unfold in whatever direction and at whatever pace it’s going to, and I love that for y’all.

The crew caving expedition had the best moments in it, I think. So many squeals and explosions :D
A favorite moment I’d have to say is the caving exposition. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone in each time interact!

Gosh the first day shenanigans were all so good but I’ve been watching multiple pov’s from the mining expedition and the fake ad’s were a riot. Quite like the fact that a lot of the hermits are sticking close together I’m sure it’ll make for great collabs and fun in the future. Love your starter base, it’s so cute and cozy, and the concept for your builds this season!
The Great Roast of Manager Rendog is perhaps my favorite part of the first videos across the whole cast, but in this one it was your design process! This was my first video of yours and my first time seeing a timelapse like that and it was really cool to see, as someone who’s planning on getting into building soon himself.
I wish there were quarter slabs, in particular of the branches in the camping fire, it would make the structures so much better.

decided to watch everyone’s first episode with some friends to see if there was anyone who had some particularly cool concepts for the season !! I love the editing style and the music and the overall personality of this video and the enchanted forest concept is SO intriguing- excited to see where this season takes him!! I definitely will be trying to tune in for it :DD
We should all respect how much time Jevin spends on these videos. They bring so much fun and laughter to my day. Keep it up!

It’s been too long since I’ve seen most of the ep 1s to pick a overall favorite but the first thing that comes to mind is just how offhandedly doc treats demise, basically just “oh I died let’s get a kill quickly and then go back to the important part, automating pistons”
It blows my mind how great the production value of these videos are, even after so many years. It upsets me he doesnt get the views he used to. He deserves it more than most youtubers. Love you and your videos jevin, never change

I really liked what everyone did in their first episode. Some concentrated on the caving and some on what happened later. You took the best of both worlds and it came out great! Your starter base is so cute! The grass on the roof is perfect. So glad everyone is back and combining group antics and individual work.

My favourtie bit so far was Rendog was explaining the rules of the mining game and is the first to get killed.

I love the timelapse showing creative mode as well as copying it in survival! It's so cool to see the creative process, and that way we get double the timelapse, both the building it up one and the layer by layer one! I love that fantasy enchanted style, I'm looking forward to seeing everything you build!

One of my favorite parts of season start is always the big circle. Even before things get start shenanigans begin! lol
One episode and it's already evident both how excited you are for this season and how much you're going to completely knock it out of the park. The build is gorgeous, and hearing that it came out exactly how you hoped in your head is such a testament to the strength of your vision and your building skills. As for favorite moments, the coop caving expeditions produced too many good moments to count - from razzing Bdubs about being an elder to Ren's "managing" to whatever the Purple Pickles were doing - and I think it just goes to show that the best parts of Hermitcraft are the Hermits, together.

Jevin, just being a pro nonchalantly is such a power move. This hermitcraft season im trying to keep up with everyone, and im glad i am.
The amount of times i panicked when Jevin did something dangerous (i.e. the casual creeper handling around the 11 min mark) has left me pleasantly surprised.
I now know that Jevin is the server Chad.
I love the creative process timelapse! It’s much more individual to your thought process.

ETA: I'm enjoying all the videos I've seen so far; I'm one of those that really loves the Hermits' interactions, so this beginning is nice, with a lot of the Hermits in fairly close proximity.

I love the birch wood in the build! Probably my favorite tiny detail.
House is gorgeous! What I like best about the season openings was the fun and banter in the caves.
Enchanted forest? Custom biome?? Yes!!! I LOVED your foray into custom trees and nature in S8 and have been wanting to do a similar thing in my own worlds, so i'l extremely hyped for this season. Looking forward to it ^^

Love your research and design creative processes: your build is beautiful! Well proportioned, detailed to draw the eye not overwhelm it. All the shades of green are my favourite, so that roof design is a crush! Editing on your content was just enough to keep up with the flow with other hermits. Awesome start to S10, hoping to see yours and Hypnos lowkey sass lines come out more, cause they’re worthy of the brilliant sass lines show Seinfeld. You rock!

I’m so obsessed with this build! Just seeing it in other hermit’s videos dragged me over and I’m hooked. So excited for your enchanted theme it’s gonna be gorgeous
My favourite bits of the first episodes of all the Hermits, including yours ofcourse, were definately the exploring together parts. It's great to see some hermits on a mission and it's better if the group isn't way too big. I guess actually get things done is the satisfying part and then there's the fun social aspect along the way.
Your base looks amazing, Jevin! The roof is something special. It's almost as if it's made of lace. Love the texture of the leaves. Further along the season I hope you'll take some risks with colour. Your skin/branding is a beautiful blue hue that would really be striking if you can manage to blend it in with the neutrals.

Great starter base, and I'm excited to see your planned build for this season! I really like that you use a lot of decorative foliage, so an enchanted forest sounds great. Also, 22:00 was awesome of you- I watched Ren's perspective and I felt kind of bad for him because he really did try to contribute, he was actually trying to mine stuff above their campsite but he wasn't finding much, and then he just got totally blindsided by a creeper that must've followed him when he came back down. That's happened to me plenty of times.
My heart froze watching you bridge across that waterfall of lava. Haha. It's great seeing your style of caving. I'm definitely a super cautious, super terrified caver, so I love seeing you just zooming through!

Personally my favorite thing so far is the coop caving clips from everyone for sure. Very entertaining. Not sure im a big fan of the demise game yet. Feels like a spin on the boogeyman from the life series but it is what it is. I think its at least a good idea to have a starting game to break the ice.

For your question of the day, my favorite bit so far was in everyone’s first episodes (except Wels’ and Keralis’ 😢). And I’m not just saying this because I’m commenting on your episode! You got the first natural offhand joke of the season everyone laughed at and you nailed it so perfectly too. Calling out the unknown ringtone at the time as a Boomer ringtone 😂. It set the tone for the series and I loved how it highlighted the different generations in Hermitcraft. 😊

thank you for showing the komplet process for the house. i feel like in the past, building just existed suddenly and the videos lost a lot of character, because it wasnt rly playing minecraft but showing of builds. and i think in showing the process, the viewer can appreciate more the effort. i hope you will include this allwayse and also, hearing your thought process, would be awesome. i know thats not the meta for videos... but maybe on the second channel?
