  • Create your Chinese articulated dragon, fully posable, It is a action figure.
Here you can see how I assemble my 3d printing dragon design.
Once the pieces are printed you need elastic cords with a thickness of 2.5mm, scissors and, if you want to give it more stability, wire.
In Dragon it measures 43 cm, approximately 17.5 inches.
If you want you can print more pieces of the number of the files number 02 and 04 to be able to enlarge the dragon and make it longer.
The pieces need printing support. The head is articulated and the dragon will be able to move its mouth.
Get your printer right and you'll have a fun challenge to build. Enjoy!

This is amazing, incredible work. Those colours too. Could you do a winged dragon in a similar style? That's long been a challenge for toy devs.

By any chance would you know any tutorials out there or websites on 3d sculpting figurines I've been planning a while to make a ball jointed dinosaur figure but I have NO IDEA how to add the ball joints and make socket parts or just make my model a figure at all !?

I don't know specific tutorials. I think the important thing is to understand the concept and practice from the simple to the complex. The joints I normally use are BJD (ball jointed doll). There are doll modeling videos of that style to help you understand.
