Being a Geordie who has been living in the central midlands for the last 50 years or so, this channel brings me much joy. Also having a Son-in - Law and two grandsons who are Spurs supporters, yesterday’s result was sooo sooo satisfying. I totally agree on the Anthony Gordon assessment, and could not understand some of the negative comments posted when he was first signed. He is the kind of player we need to build around, same as with Bruno, Isak and Joelinton. Also big shout out to the younger players who have stepped up to the mark during the injury crisis, and demonstrated that the future of the club is indeed very bright. Thank you lads for bringing the fans views to your channel.

First back to back wins since December, pleasure to watch today and warm. Anderson played his best game and Spurs could not handle our front 3. Tactically amazing by Howe, he needs a lot of credit for today. Europa league would be a great achievement.

Barnes shouldn't be underestimated on pace, look how he left West Ham in the dust for his first goal. He is shockingly rapid!
Point is, not as quick as the other two, or doesn't appear to be. He's still fast! L
This was the 3rd time Gordan and Barnes started together. 1. On the wings against Brentford at home in Sept. 2. Harvey LW and Gordan striker against Bournemouth at home in Feb. 3. Today as wingers. I'm in the US, but I was there for 1. and 2. :)

How would you compare to Gazza
I suspect I am a little older than you, and as much as I like and admire Guimares, Gazza is far and away the best I have ever seen as a complete footballer at St. James’s. Had he gone to Manure, Fergusson would have developed him into a formidable presence in the game. Sadly the bright lights and fleshpots of the Capital and bad management robbed Paul, and the world of a great performer’s best achievements.
@@MarkWeir-cr5tk Also a fabulous midfielder, maybe I'd have rated him the best if he'd had better players around him, Beardsley and Waddle weren't at their peaks, Roeder was good but the whole team wasn't really good enough.

Based on what Chelsea paid for Mudryk (90m) Gordon couldnt be sold for no less than that imo.. but like him, Isak, Bruno those are who we need to keep & build around.

Best CMs in toon colours for me in order are: Bruno, Cabaye and Rob Lee. But the silkiest and most elegant CM we ever had has to be Mikel Merino. Man was so smooth with that left foot. Still plays like that for Sociedad and would love it if he would come back. The connection with Isak would be fire.
In terms of strikers:
Shearer, Isak, Ferdinand and Cole, in order for me. (I rate Sir Les more than Cole even if Cole was deadlier)
Wilson, Ba and Cisse would have to settle for 2nd class strikers (good players no doubt).
Beardsley, Ben Arfa, Lauren Robert, Ginola, and Maxi as the best wingers and most exciting entertainers we ever had in my opinion.
Woodgate, Botman and Schär best CBs.
Trippier, and Albert best fullbacks.
Given, Pope and Dubravka best goalies.
Keegan, Wor Bobby Robson and Rafa as the best coaches.
I will keep Gordon, Miley, and Eddie Howe as potentially moving into their respective categories with time.
Jason Tindall best assistant coach ever. and Shout out to Grame Jones for being a reliable staff member.

Most enjoyable game this season bar the PSG at home. If there was something to criticise, it was the decision to take off Anderson instead of Bruno with the game 4-0 and with few minutes to spare. Dunno what Howe was playing at given the shithousery from those salty Spurs Argentinians (proper windup merchants) and Bruno's short fuse.
Got to commend Longstaff for a combative performance today. He did well. Gordon is player of the season, I do not have any superlatives left for him. A man who backs his words with action. Just give him the award now.

Been a Newcastle fan since forever, first game 1967 v Man Utd, and up until Bruno my favourite midfielder was always Tony Green but Bruno is a level ahead of him at least.

I’d get Brenton Diaz he’s only on loan at Sheffield Utd and he’d be a good option off the bench, plus an improvement is needed on Wilson his time is up imo.
