Umarex released the G2 .30 cal and it did not disappoint in performance, range, or accuracy. The only upgrade we wanted to see was the move to a side lever vs the traditional bolt action. Well, it’s finally here and Umarex didn’t stop there. If you wanted a .22 or .35 G2 with a side lever, they’ve recently released those as well. But let’s get back to the .30 cal. The side lever action has simply transformed this into an amazing airgun for the money. We are going to unbox it and get it ready to take out to the range. Let’s get started.

I have the G2 .25 and just hit over 900 fps with heavy lead 34 grain pellets.🤠
Scrawny Johnny has a tough time pulling that cocking handle on the G2 .25.🤠

Looking for my first pcp. Been looking at this guantlet sl30 for the price and reviews. Any advice?
When I first got mine 2months ago out of the box had an air leak issue but holy smokes was it ever accurate shot on shot over and over and I'm in a very cold place so seeing it run in -10°c with no issues was awesome. I really want to see the difference in velocity with hammer spring adjustments and how to adjust my trigger
So quality control? Did you seem to have to problem fixed - My gamo arrow has a air leak but its just too much of a hassle to send it in to have it repaired. Does it still leak air
@HiIios no I was able to locate the leak using the soap and water trick on every bolt and joint until I located my leak(it was a bolt on the bottom of the rifle not the degassing screw but one closer to the bottle) I fitted the bolt with a appropriate sized o ring and have not had any air issues since.
@@jonahjj1232 - Thank you for the quick response, Mainly because (I love Gamo i have a .177 Break barrel that is amazing, and i wanted to buy a PCP) and i bought the Gamo Arrow and there's a leak and i know where the source is but idk how it happened. So i was loving the GSL .30 and didn't wanna spend all that money and have a Air leak
@HiIios that absolutely makes sense and the gsl 30 is my first pcp and for me it's an expensive air gun so when I first got it and it didn't hold air I was really bummed and the closest air rifle tech is way to far to be shipping it back and forth so the ability to locate and deal with a leak in house was a huge bonus for me(the leak was incredibly small but an air gun guy on youtube says to store them with air in the tank so that seals don't deform and it was when I had it stored for a few hours when I actually noticed a drop in pressure)
@@jonahjj1232 - The Gamo Arrow .22 was my first PCP - and it wasn't expensive (But i added more stuff on the site including a Air pump which isn't bad) - But as i've used it for back yard Plinking and Squirrels it worked and it was powerful as it shipped, only recently when i was filling it up like normal did i hear a leak of air and i've contacted support which there support is good - There's so much process to have it shipped back to the gunsmiths.. So i really hope that this doesn't happen with Umarx since i buy some Pistols from the site too - I'm gonna get an Air compressor also since the pump is sooo tiring

Better "late" than never. This is one of the most popular airguns out there, especially in the hunting category. I'll accept all the info on it that I can find.
