      Hi buddy, certainly, if you're restoring headlights and want minimal overspray, the LPH80 is the one to go with. It runs lovely at 1.0 bar, giving a great finish. It does seem slow compared to most mini guns, but it shouldn't be a problem doing lights, cheers, mate 👍

      Hi, I have 3 ANI R150s in various tip sizes and have only needed to to replace the nylon bush on one, I clean my sprayguns after every days use so the bushes are constantly being compressed without problems.
      The bushes are around £4 GBP for 10 with the application tool so not a worry at all, the standard pot once you get used to it is fine, just turn the lid back before you turn it to tighten and it sits perfectly, the later guns now have a more conventional pot lid so are even better

      Hi Rogerio, it's a mixed bag, the Sata has the biggest fan so is better suited if that's what you need most of the time, the LPH 80 is very compact and the best made of the lot, however, for me in use the ANI feels the best in the hand but the gun i would keep if i could only have one is the Sri Pro Lite, it's well made, good in the hand, sprays very well and gives good control when doing smaller parts

    • @peteshobbies5383

      Hi Ken, I think it's just the way it looks rather than what's actually happening.
      When you see a physically big gun putting out, what looks like a small fan with a 1.0 and a smaller mini gun putting out the same size fan, but, because the gun is only half the size the pattern looks bigger.
      That's my thinking, but I may well give it a go and see. Cheers, Ken 👍

      Hi Tony, to a degree I see what you are saying but I don't agree that you need a vertical spray out to see the evenness of a pattern, provided there's enough paint in the pot of a gravity feed gun of course, the evenness of a pattern is obvious as soon as you pull the trigger, any spots that are heavier will ultimately run first and obviously a lot of spraying isn't just vertical.

      @@peteshobbies5383 Thank you very much. Yes for outright from the gun finish. I seem to get a slightly better finish with the lph 80 . So for bike parts and such it seems to be a better gun. But I tend to like the SATA for larger bike parts like full trike bodies or such or if I need to bury it in clear for my flow coats. I think I will get one if those lph 80s. I'm glad I did see your video . I was leaning to the Ani r160 1.2 or lph 80 for atomization and out the gun finish. Would it be as accurate on the edge as the IWATA ?
    Would you say LPH80 is HVLP and SRI seems more like a HTE ?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Dave, no i haven't but there are some on CZcams and nearly all gun's are the same as far as the controls are concerned, you have fluid, air and fan size, if your new to this the best please to start air wise is to open the air up completely on the gun and use a regulator at the base and set it to the manufacturers recommended figures, a good place to start.
      Fan is normally set to full on most guns but you may want a smaller pattern sometimes so can adjust if required, fluid depends on a lot of variables which include the viscosity, type of material so priming, basecoat, clear etc, that one is impossible to answer as it's quite specific to what you are doing and the circumstances you're doing it in, hope that helps 👍
