Dear friends, sharing with you the song of the Lower Indra (Tikhali Dam) in Nuapada district. We had visited the displaced people of the dam project, about 2 years back, and had recorded these videos. The song belongs to the displaced people of the region. Its not only Tikhali, but starting from Hirakud Dam in 1950's the saga and torture of the nation on its people is continuing, from East to West, North to South; from Assam to Gujrat and from Kashmir to KannyaKumari. The uprooted people have always burn of the "DEVELOPMENT". The harvested cream from such projects goes into the pockets of the filthy rich, who get richer with every such project.
