This is captured during old patch (pre-update 7), so it's using the old mod system, though I didn't stack too many power range mods. The base range of Absorb post-update 7 is shorter than seen here. You'd need some reach mod to compensate.
yeah that's pretty much the only way to "show off" the skill without having it look completely retarded, not killing anything with the blast... the skill needs some serious reworking.
