Dear Ceri, Thank you! For decades, I have collected odds and ends, bits and bobs. My supposed friends have given me no end of grief about my eccentricity (my word, they use less kind words).; unfortunately, my rate of acquiring materials far exceeds my production rate, so I have few opportunities to say, "See?!" Seeing your video has given a much needed boost to my self - confidence. Yours truly, A New Subscriber

You have no idea how nice it was to watch this video. Just what I just searching for. I got lots of fun foam to give a very good use. It's a pity that I don't know where my cutting machine is. Well, got to do it with the materials I have. Thanks sooooo much, Ceri the crafter 🙏😀👍❤️

The boards are a great idea, I make smaller ones, but now I want to make some larger ones like yours! I have seen you on PM Artist Studio's livestreams as they confuse me when they say our names. I didn't realise you were in the UK! Anyway, now I have found your channel, I am subscribed of course. 💗💗

Lotsa' creatives out there named "kerrie" 😎
Just nosy--does the difference between the "a" and "e" register for you? People used to say things to me like, "kerrie--like 'carry my books'? Like 'carry on'?..." etc.
I'd emphatically say, "No--like "go merrily on your way"-- 😂🤣😂🦀

I found this video very interesting, thank you. I haven't made one of these yet, but I think you can make your plates waterproof with shellac (aka button polish). A couple of coats each side, diluted with methylated spirit, will make it easy to get rid of ink or paint residue. I'm not sure how it would react with the spongy cutouts, but will definitely be ok with card cutouts. I do collagraph printing on an intaglio press and the plates need to be thoroughly sealed.

I have a pack of fun foam I use on my cards for dimension instead of using dimensional tape which is more expensive. But I just use the black white and brown.
