  • This video was created using multiple video clips of a trip to La Brea Tarpits in Los Angeles on September 29, 2022. This is a comprehensive look at what you will see at the Hancock Park and George C. Page Museum. It is a fantastic museum and park with numerous excellent displays of the hundreds of ice age animal skeletons excavated from the various tar pits. You will find this video very informative about what you will see during your visit. Interestingly only one human, a partial female skeleton, The La Brea Woman, has been found. It is not on display at the museum out of respect for Native American Rights. You should visit the site. It is worth a special trip! This is definitely a place to go and see in California and Los Angeles.

The audio dropped out just a few minutes in … hope it returns! I’d love to visit the pits, but too far away. 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦

Thanks for watching. I should have put a note in the video. There are several locations in the video where other people were nearby and you could clearly hear their private conversations so I silenced the video until I was far enough from the people to not hear what they were saying. Try again and wait a little longer or fast forward through the quiet zone. If you get a chance you should go. It is totally awesome! It is located in downtown Los Angeles and the San Diego Zoo is not too far.

@@anisotropicplus I actually went back and started watching again in case the issue was my iPad. Luckily, I fast forwarded a bit and tried again. I enjoyed the video immensely! Doubt I’ll ever see it though. I’m in Ontario, an hour northwest of the New York border. I’m sort of disabled from an accident and don’t go far these days. That’s where you come in … you take me there! Thanks! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
