    Would love for to do a video on how to maneuver through the district or ways to avoid getting ripped off. Maybe how we can find the best casters and people to deal with. I've been to the district in NYC many times and always feel like everyone is trying to finesse me. How do I get to deal with the people above the store fronts. That just have their company names on the door. There's 1000s of em.

    If you wanna have a jewelry business. Learn how to do something yourself. Having someone produce everything for you isn’t always the best option. It’ll also teach you what works and doesn’t.
    A lot of “jewelers” are real just salesman that can design, polish, set or anything

      Yes I would do at least that. It will only cost a few dollars per piece extra for small pieces but will definitely be worth. Customers will see the difference and having long term customers and repeat buyers is key. You can also charge more.

    Does anyone know any good wholesale gold companies ?

  • @AzriRich28
    @AzriRich28 Před měsícem

    But the jewellery that has been casted are always the face value of the gold value per ounce or per gram and the only way to make profit through this is the workmanship price that you put for the gold jewelry plus the gold face value. My point is if you ask a gold caster or a gold maker to make gold jewelry for you it's always expensive more than you can sell at face value plus the workmanship value unless you can find a way of ordering jewelry in sets of millions of dollars or in hundred thousands at least to make a decent profit after cutting out the costs to make it.

    "It's much better to hold jewelry and flip it and double your money, instead of holding coins and bars which you buy at a premium."
    I don't understand what you're talking about 🤔 Everything we buy, we buy at a premium. Coins, ingots, jewelry, everything.

    • @SlavaTVOfficial
      @SlavaTVOfficial  Před měsícem +1

      You can never sell a bar or coin for more than the price of gold. With jewelry you can make money even if gold falls

    • @akgoldbear7669
      @akgoldbear7669 Před měsícem

      @@SlavaTVOfficial You say this because you sell jewelry and I don't sell jewelry, I sell 24K pure gold and for the last eight years I have never had a problem selling my gold regardless of the world gold price.
      I'll tell you more, I see people on eBay trying to sell the same piece of jewelry for months, but they can't sell it because they bought a ring for 500 bucks a long time ago, and now they want to sell it again for 500 bucks, so as not to lose their money, but they can’t. I offer them 100-120 bucks because I know how much gold can be extracted from the jewelry, they say I’m crazy, but after 8-12 months they accept my offer. So your words are empty ringing 😉✌

    • @SlavaTVOfficial
      @SlavaTVOfficial  Před měsícem

      @@akgoldbear7669 it’s not a problem to sell gold. You’re not understanding what I’m saying. If you hold jewelry you make money in it. This is why jewelers hold jewelery and not gold bars or coins. The markup on jewelry is very big. You cannot sell gold or bars at a significant mark up

    • @SlavaTVOfficial
      @SlavaTVOfficial  Před měsícem +1

      @@akgoldbear7669 let me explain.
      You will never have a problem selling gold because gold can always be sold. You can always sell to a refinery and get most of the gold value.
      If someone bought a ring and now they’re trying to sell that ring on ebay and get money that person is not a jeweler. That is a consumer trying to sell a used item on eBay for the same price he bought it for. It doesn’t work that way. Also the business model you have is basically messaging a number of people and hoping those people don’t understand how gold works. It’s the same as a pawn shop. That person doesn’t know he can go to a refinery and get pretty much the full gold price out of the piece
      Making money off people’s lack of knowledge is not the way i make money, I’m not a moral advisor and people can do what they want. But that’s not for me. Not only that but that’s not a scalable model.
      If you have a gold bar and price drops you will not make money on it and you will lose money on it. Period. If price goes up you just made money only cuz the price of gold went up. You’re relying on gold prices to make money. The money made on premiums is Pennie’s.
      With jewlery you can make a good amount of money regardless of the gold price
