Only eating ikea foods for a day...would you be in to this or not?! What should I try next? email: grackleyoutube@outlook.com insta and tiktok: gracebooth97
grace i've been subscribed to you for sooo long and your content never gets boring. you've kept me and my sister company many times and we love your channel
There definitely something about IKEA. I think it's the fact you can walk around and imagine completely different lifestyles for yourself. Can't believe you went to Purley Way! I've been going there since I was a kid. Love your vids Grackle!
I just got in from the rain and am tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle watching this. The world feels a bit less scary and overwhelming with a cosy Grack video and autumn around the corner. Thank you Grace, you help my mental health and help me heal my inner child at the same time ❤️❤️
Its so fun seeing people try things from Sweden as a Swede, so much things i didnt realise was Swedish. Sidenote, we had daim cake at our wedding, my husband loooves it 🙈😂
i just had the salmon and dill sauce this past weekend for the first time ever from the cafeteria at ikea and i KNEW YOU WOULDNT LIKE THE SAUCE. I love DILL AND EVEN I DIDNT LIKE IT HAHAHAHA I'M NOT YELLING JUST EXCITED LMAO
Literally JUST had dinner at IKEA last night and had grabbed the Daim cake and frozen cinnamon rolls on the way out! Can’t wait to eat that Daim cake now!
Our food was also reduced- we could get 1 meal per shift(either in the employee area or the mail dining area- they had different options) for only $3. I always ate at work because it was cheaper than buying groceries for a cheap meal. We also got free drinks throughout our shift. When they brought us back from furlough after Covid hit, they provided free food for all employees.
I haven't bought any IKEA food products in a long time but I remember I loved their biscuits and their jarred herring. There's also this fish egg spread called "Kalles" that I find very addictive if I put it on crisp bread with sliced boiled egg.
Had spinal surgery 2 weeks ago after being life flighted and I am now living vicariously through you. Never been to Ikea but I think once I get to go home and get better at walking again I'm gonna have to go. Some of that food looked so good. 🤤
@@SammyMaryFR10 thank you so much! I should make a full or almost full recovery. This whole ordeal has really made me appreciate my life. Take care of yourself! 💜
Lemon Dill can be good but homemade is def better but the biggest flavor difference i've seen is cooking Garlic in it I learned a sauce where saute some garlic, then put whipping/heavy cream, dill, and lemon juice and let it sit on a low simmer to thicken. If you leave the Dill out its just as good. Very tasty on chicken and potatoes, i kinda wanna try it on some salmon now
I never know maribou were Swedish! I used to have them all the time as a kid (in ireland). I loved them cos they were super cheap from the corner shop and you got soooooo much chocolate in the roll! I loved the mint ones too!
If you haven't tried them next time you're in IKEA try the punsch-roll and the chocolate oat balls they're devine! Such an interesting texture and perfect sweetness level!
OMG I loved this video!!! You always put me in the best mood Grace, I just love your outlook on things!! Sending lots of love from Hollywood!! xo 🤗💜❤💕✌
We used to have "Dime bars" over here with the exact same chocolate and packaging except spelt "Dime" and IKEA stocked "Daim" (mini bites) a bit like we had "Marathon" then it turned into "Snickers". Now we can only get it from IKEA- hence "Daim" pronounced "Dime".
Grace, I haven’t been to IKEA in ages because there is no IKEA in the small university city I stay in. This video made me miss my IKEA trips in the city I grew up in, thanks for the 11/10 content 💙
I am all for anything Ikea related, fully agree it rivals a theme park and is a day out in itself! I am disappointed that my local Ikea does not look as impressive as yours though!
I had Daim from Ikea last time and i was impressed. It reminded me of kinder chocolate. I was tempted to eat half of it :D Luckily i didnt but its so good
the ikea jammy dodgers are like the off brand version of the swedish biscuits 'singoalla' which imo have perfect jam to creme ratio- u should give em a wee go if u get the chance!
That vienetta video has probably been getting tons of views from this video 😂 so interesting!! Also, love the video. Need to go to IKEA again soon!! Also, the “I’m veRy much underWHELMED” sent me 🤣🤣
I have watched almost all of your videos, just want to say u r amazing and always brighten my day. I love your vlogs ( thats why I also love extra grack) they make me feel like were spending the day together. Keep makin this great content ur awesome!!!
We only just got an IKEA a couple of years ago and I found it so overwhelming and easy to get disoriented that I never went back 😆 you should do a tour video for us Novice IKEA folks 😎🙌🇨🇦
Oh come-on! There are maps in the store available ...just find the shortcuts and notice what section they are in/ take pictures on phone to orient yourself...Can't believe you are Canadian.🇨🇦🍁🏔🌲🏕.🌲🦌.not all Ikea store layouts are alike by the way...Go back and do a few sections at a time, look backwards to remember which way you came , then head for the exit, will be easier every time...by Christmas, you will have it down pat.:)))
Love the Ikea, it's a day out for me and my mum. I live 5 mins away from one. My mum lives an hour away and will visit me purely for good smelling candles and meatballs for lunch, sad as it is we love it!!
Now I really wanna eat køttbullar and I'm mad at myself that I didn't buy the plant based version 'HUVUDROLL' when I was there two weeks ago 😅😑 Guess I'll make swedisch meatballs, but plant based this weekend 🤤 Loved this little ikea food adventure 🥰
I'm Swedish and while I think the Ikea meatballs taste just fine I find it funny how people rave about the meatballs because they are basically the ones we buy from the supermarket. Meatballs that you make yourself are so much better same goes for the buns.
Love that you showed us the veanetta pudding being made... I was about to google it 🤣 and now I want ikea meatballs and dime pie! Old kardiashians is the best of all their series
Grace, you have done me a public service. Living in NYC, there were always IKEAs nearby, but they were a logistical nightmare to reach by public transportation. So I Googled and it seems there is a new location only TWO subway stations away. I could even walk there if was in the mood for a short hike. Part of me wants to run there tomorrow for some meatballs. But another part of me feels that I should boycott them for their marketing fail. How could they open a store and not tell the locals!!! WWGD?
almost all fish in the uk is frozen and then sent abroad to be processed and defrosted when sold as fresh fish. unlesa your buying from a fishmonger on a port coastal location assume its frozen fish.
How can you not like Pollys (well, 2 of the 3 flavours are lush! I think it’s arrack that I don’t like because it’s boozy) and those choc oat biscuits? I am shocked 🤣 the biscuits pair so well with tea 👌 thanks for sharing! X
Haha I remember the first time I tried the Polly sweets as a kid and omg I had the same reaction 😂 did NOT enjoy. But Dumle is my fave chocolate in the world (anything Fazer chocolate really) but I might be biased because I’m Finnish (and so is Fazer) 🇫🇮
grace i've been subscribed to you for sooo long and your content never gets boring. you've kept me and my sister company many times and we love your channel
Couldn’t agree with this more! I keep recommending your channel to friends 🫶🏻
My parents actually did sell their house on first viewing because they baked some frozen cinnamon buns just before! The smell is just so enticing!
As a Swedish person I approve this message! Love you ms grackle!
So how do you pronounce "Daim" please ???? 😳😳😳
As another swede, I second approve this message!
Do you think the mustard is johnnys sweet and sour? Eller kan det vara någon annan, antar det inte är slotts om den är ”annorlunda” Vad tror ni?
@@msme7544 hmm bra fråga, jag skulle ändå säga att det känns mer som Johnny’s pga hur ”len” den är, you feel me?
@@TheTamago she pronounced it correctly the first time, thats how we say it here in Sweden

When I worked at IKEA, a piece of Daim and a cup of coffee(free for employees) were the perfect pick me up! It was always my go-to on slow weeknights
Our food was also reduced- we could get 1 meal per shift(either in the employee area or the mail dining area- they had different options) for only $3. Frozen salmon in the airfryer, 180C for 15-20mins. Skin side up for the last 5 mins. Impeccable.
You should do a video we’re you only use up what you have at home without doing a food shop! 😆
Kafferep means loosely translated “time for coffe and cinnamon buns or other cookies”
IKEA do great breakfast foods! -full English, pastries etc 😁 I usually go early morning, eat breakfast then browse!
the ikea jammy dodgers are like the off brand version of the swedish biscuits 'singoalla' which imo have perfect jam to creme ratio- u should give em a wee go if u get the chance!

Polly was one of my fave candy when I lived in Finland🥺
I saw in our Lidl (in the Netherlands) that they had the Daim cake in the freezer isle
Ikea definitely has theme park vibes 😍

Those oat biscuits look like Choc Wheaton's (Australian) there was a cheaper version which I think we're just chocolate digestives
As a Swede this video made me very happy🥰 (Also I don’t like Polly either, I think they taste funny!!)
Seriously when is IKEA going to come to New Zealand 🇳🇿 I really want to try all of these things!!!

Have you tried the vegan berry ice cream or the oat biscuits with sweetener
the CRIME of fries with meatballs!!!!!!!!
My younger brother gets that cake for his birthday every year 😂
Where’s the icing on the cinnamon roll? That’s the best part!!

In my whole 21 years on earth o have never been to ikea and I feel deprived
What is it about ikea that makes it so amazing?
I do this often, no joke. I'll spend the whole day on my switch, eating food and drinking coffee in Ikea's Cafe.
Grace I need you to watch Jersey shore because I feel like you’d love hate it so much and I need your opinions on Snooki 🖤
Only eating IKEA foods for 24 hours

I adore dill. I'm not terribly fond of salmon.... 😏 but your plate looks delish.

Foods different in UK compared to Sweden /Norway.. Never seen chips served with meatballs
