I feel bad for people who don't know Faouzia yet ( the best vocalist of our generation and the most talented and intelligent singer that exists ) I LOVE HER
Yeah they' rather listen to Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae and many others of that soft voice variety who get millions of views for whatever reason!
@@johnbevan9053 Olivia's songs are still good ,but what about Addison Rae's song? Or Dixie's songs? Why in the world do they have more views than this????????
I hope she gets the fame she deserves a day ✨❤️
There are also Lyodra from Indonesia ♥️ you may check her
Man I think quarantine made people lose taste so they be singing Addison songs and Olivia Rodrigo and all of those that sound good enough. But Faouzia? Pure gold. No one can match to her
Why isn’t this a downloadable song. It NEEDS TO BE. EPIC

I love how you can see the tonal shift with the lighting colors. She goes from sad and scared to completely done with it and standing in her own power by the end. I absolutely love it.
I still can't get over how actually impressive you are as a vocalist. Like i try to sing this and i can see when you go from diaphragm to head voice. You have so much power and control going from the low octave to the very mezzo soprano notes. I will ALWAYS be a fan. Keep up the phenomenal work.

@@arabfawns ohhh... and will it never be or can one put a license on it afterwards?
it’s out on Spotify now!
She is unbelievable, the best singer of new generation, her voice, her songs, her sound are stunning 🤩
Oh my God, I can't express how much I love this song. The meaning behind it is everything. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW, I feel like she's in love with a person who only sees her for how she looks, he constantly calls her pretty and beautiful and although it is flattering but girls ask for more than just compliments on their faces/ bodies. She wants him to love her for the things she has and doesn't have, for her good side but also her bad side just as much. I feel like this song represents relationships nowadays, they're built to show off to people, to look "perfect" or "relationship goals" on social media. He apparently doesn't love her but also can't be honest with her so she keeps on running in circles trying to understand him. And although deep down she knows he doesn't love her, but him calling her pretty and beautiful is pulling her in to stay which is weighing her down and draining her energy so all she does is cry in the shower instead of facing reality. WOW
Damn. Thanks for saying that.
You said it all..excellent explanation !@@
@tima cdouh My first thoughts after listening were that she's in love with a person who doesn't love her and they can't find a common ground because they're either so different from each other or he cheated on her ("I know if you loved me, it would never go that far"). Or both those things. Hence why he keeps telling her sweet nothings and compliments - he pulls the the wool over her eyes to make her stay with him. But still, your explaination is way better, I like it!
Yes you nailed that on the head
Well said. I like it ❤️❤️❤️
I just had a sudden realization......... if she does a stripped version of this it will be absolutely INSANE. It could have like one percussionist on the percussion, one cellist, one violinist, and of course Faouzia singing and on piano. It would be phenomenal. I miss her stripped versions so much. Please like this so she could possibly see it and consider it.
Yes! i'm with you here. OMG it would be spectacular *swoons*
The thing with Faouzia is that her voice is so powerful, sometimes the production on her songs covers it up. I personally prefer the stripped versions of most of her songs. That’s not to say the originals aren’t great, it’s just that Faouzia’s voice is so phenomenal I just want as much of it as I can get.
@@josephsherby Agreed. I just wish she'd see this. I have no doubt if she stops overmixing her songs, she'd be at the same level and even surpass Adele
@@josephsherby agreed !!!
Honestly I like the production on this song a lot. It's different to the production on her other songs and really adds to the vibe

A friend of mine a year ago said that her favorite song was "This Mountain" and I'd never heard it. So I looked it up, and fell in love with it. I started listening to more of Faouzia's songs and became obsessed with her. So proud of you Faouzia, and someday the world will see that too
That was the first song I heard of hers, too! It holds a special place in my heart for that reason. I love Faouzia.
2024 still here ❤
You never disappoint when it comes to showing off your voice to it's full potential!
The entire vocal is flawless and those low notes are perfection! Here are some of my favourite vocal moments from the song that are extremely challenging to do:
0:52 - Low F3 to a sudden Eb in a gorgeous head voice
1:04 - The intervals on "go that far" are very unexpected and difficult to achieve such precision with!
1:06 - The amazing signature vocal trill on the "lad da de da da", stunning!
1:35 - "I get mad and you say" covers an octave and a half with perfect precision! And the belt on "don't go" is flawless!
1:47 - An octave interval jump down to an F3 - extremely impressive!
1:56 - Love the backing vocals here! And the Eb3 on the lyric "bathroom" has fantastic tone!
2:04 - My favourite moment! A precise vocal run of 18 notes followed by a stunning belt
2:11 - Incredible vocal control and an 8 second sustain!
Keep it coming, Faouzia! Everything you touch turns to gold! :)
1:04 "go that FAR"! Ups and downs like waves of the ocean! Flawless! I heard her a few days ago & I'm stunned of her vocals. God poured a giant cup of voice in her!
@@megitanz89 That's the one I meant to do when I mentioned the unexpected interval; not the word "beautiful", but the word "far" instead as it lands on a Db note which was very unexpected in the melodic line. The precision of pitch she has is just amazing. And you're right it creates a sort of wave in the vocal. The musicality in all her songs is what I live for when listening to her music! :)
