    I like how there was some expectation that James May might stand up for Jeremy Clarkson, but he was having none of it. Miles Jupp is another top tier host. They really seem to have the hosts worked out this season.

    When will this madness end? I can cope with Brexit, Trump, Johnson, plague, double-digit inflation ... but Eurovision too?? I looked up where the UK had finished - naturally I started at the bottom - but I didn't see the UK until I almost reached the top. It's all getting too much when the UK enters a decent song for Eurovision.

    So very small thing. I remember a family friend being visited in SA for substantial farming plots at schools by Thatcher. It was was a big thing as it made greens an important part of diet.

    Back in 2008, there were 336,000 people who had submitted requests for tickets to see a TG show taped. Based on the number of episodes filmed each season, it was calculated that all of those people equated a 21-year wait.
    Today, the wait is about 7 minutes.

      Yes, I thought 40,000 for a tractor didn't sound unreasonable. A John Deere tractor is about $50,000 in the US, so with the exchange rate difference that Lamborghini model does not seem like it would be much more. Vehicles are generally cheaper in the US than Europe anyway.

    James May muntering on about the Queen owning the train line and not needing an oyster card, was like waiting for your 80 year old great aunt to remember the end of her anecdote and genuinely as amusing.
    As to Camilla telling Jess' son they throw unwanted presents under the bushes, in the garden... It was almost guaranteed to have her sprint over to Charles, tell him what she said, and then have the two of them wheezing with laughter, tracking him doing the rounds of all the bushes.
    I have to say, Camilla sounds an entertaining, cheery companion.

    I actually think that tackle by Morrison was an honest accident, but like others here I’m glad he got ousted. That clip just shows that he can’t be trusted to play football with children in an adult fashion, in other words, letting the game be about them.
