Finished this game on Wedneaday but it'll stay in my heart forever.
I've seen so many comments like this in so many videos about Ys 8. Im so happy so many people feel the same as me đ This is def one game I can play through over and over again. And DAMN what a good cover of this song!

For a 2016 game that originally released on PS Vita, you shouldn't expect too much graphics wise, but it's a fun romp through dinosaur land, and the characters and story are incredibly memorable. I had an absolute blast playing the game.
Not every game is for every person l, so one is not required to like it. But if we're going to speak objectively, I think the nature of the art direction is perfectly acceptable.

I've yet to start my playthroughs of Ys yet, but I have played most of Falcoms other titles, and their music is always spectacular. Sunshine Coastline is by far my most favorite track from Ys 8, and you did it justice. Well done!

Lmao they use the same upbeat music throughout Ys 9 and it's a monster city. It has Castlevania, Resident evil, Bloodborne atmosphere with the same upbeat ost's from Ys 8 and my God the game just didn't work. It was just a literal re-skin of ys 8 unfortunately with the graphics and story dumbed down a few notches slapped with a $60 price tag, ripping fans off that were hyped from Ys 8, especially the ones on this side of the world that waited two years for the western release. Still, this song here is a masterpiece.
Haha yeh I see what you mean, basically an upscaled PS2 game. Still really good though cus Falcom never make a bad game! And that OST slaps! So much so I did a cover of one of the boss themes! Hope they improve the tenth game in the series!
