- We had a close call when I brought out a documentary crew for a stealth camping trip. I expected a very smooth trip but things didn't go to plan. I picked an easy stealth camping spot, but you never know what can happen when it comes to stealth camping. Thanks to Mark, Gabe, and Ethan for coming along and documenting our crazy little lives.

I smiled so big at 13:53 when Mark said, "It doesn't get any better than this."
This was awesome
Guy earned all the Steve red in the world. Cheers
Honestly one of my new all time favorite quotes.
Who is the idiot wearing blaze orange?
He said that as he was obviously dragged up speaking with his mouth full .. if I'd have spoke with food in my mouth my mother would have slapped the food out of my mouth.. and I'm from a shite hole in the UK
" I don't know why people are golfing so late, some of us are trying to camp" LMAO!!! Steve is a national treasure
Classic😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
I spit a little step two on that one. LOL.
I laughed so hard. Just brillant. Someone is going to have to collect Steve’s best quips in a book (or maybe they could be sprinkled throughout the promised “Camping with Steve” cookbook?) Hint. Hint.
International treasure
Steve looks like a scout leader that just realized that he doesn’t want to be a scout leader
Wife here - This was one of the rare comments that actually made me giggle. Thanks for that. Thanks, also for supporting Steve. (And don't worry, he had a blast)
Most underated comment ever. This pegged the whole experience. Made me laugh.

Ya, Steve ya knuckle head.. haven’t ya seen other documentaries following people into the woods? Always someone and his friend….
almost got in over your head. shoulda brought crazy neighbor as your backup to help out and take some of the stress off your back and who knows may even gotten some sleep between both of ya.
Steve: "This guy wore a glow in the dark shirt to a stealth camp." Also Steve: Let me whip out my deep fryer and fry up so nachos in the middle of the woods. Loved this video man. Good to see these young gentlemen outside and living life.
Roflmfao! Great point!
Oh you mean the "Weird Al" Yankovic impersonator. Waiting for him to start singing.
Haha thats great
Now I'm crying 😂
😂😂😂
The line, "I don't know why people are golfing so late, some of us are trying to camp", needs to be on T-shirt
Lol it was almost on a billboard hahah
Steve being afraid of the police is the funniest thing to me. He acts like he's wanted for murder. 😂
shhhh... 😡
Hahaha
Once they find his CZcams channel and identify his stealth locations they will charge him with like 65 counts of trespassing.
@@raiden031 Thankfully for all of us it doesn't work like that in Canada. Steve is in the clear!!!
Hahahaha
This shows me that only a truly expert stealth camper, can take all that gear and 3 inexperienced kids, build a camp in between an active golf course and the police in a thin sliver of brush, and also cook a gourmet meal with dietary options.. and still not get caught.. you sir are ELITE!!
Total fluke. I thought we were done for.
@@campingwithsteve I was biting my nails too for a while there, Steve! Great video, I'm excited for their documentary. Bunch of college kids attempting a journey and meeting up with you. Really cool stuff
@@campingwithsteveAt this point, I think if a cop walked up on you during a stealth camp, they would probably say, "It's Steve!", Crack open a step 2 with you and slap a hunker down sticker on the back of the squad car.
I found this one absolutely hilarious, the fact you brought a jug of oil to fry tortillas blew my mind.
Didnt want to run out
So delightfully on brand for Steve :)
@@campingwithstevebro you are a mother fiddling legend my friend. So glad you brought these kids out, they look up to you and seem like good kids. Legend
“My moms going to yell at me” 😂 this video was so different and funny and I loved it Steve!!
i was looking for this comment 💀
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was so awkward when he said that hahahaha
@@bri420x For real lollll
That was LAME 👎 Who would deny a beer that Steve is handing to you while camping??? Bad form! 🤣🤣
"my mom is gonna yell at me" that was the most wholesome moment in a camping with Steve video ever lol
so awkward haha too funny
They're from Ohio, of course they're awkward.
But I concur that was pretty funny to watch.
Gotta keep mom happy!
Pounds to pennys he was straight on the sauce when the camera went off lol.

I personally like seeing “Crazy Neighbor” in the videos. He’s seems like good hearted person deep down
More of him to come!

He's a Monster
LOVE Crazy Neighbor. Go Crazy, go Crazy....
Some great lines in this one! 😄
"They exclude me from huddles" and "my mom's gonna yell at me".
Saul Goodman's Film Crew is highly experienced and always ready to go that extra mile !!
‘You all are legal from the states you come from?’…’noooo…. My mom is gonna yell at me’. Pahaha, pure gold. Poor kid 😅
I'm 82 and my beautiful wife is 71, at one time in our lives we camped every weekend from April to October in eastern oregon. Now we camp vicariously with you. Thank you very much. We are pushing everyone to get you over 1mil. Keep on stealthily! Your friends Nancy and Smitty
I'm a younger guy but growing up, our summers were filled with camping throughout Idaho. Weekend trips. Even did a 2 week camping trip with a canoe strapped down to our station wagon and a float tube in the back. Miss those days.
Any areas to recommend? I've been hanging out near Redmond a lot and it's such a nice area. Happy travels!
Fantastic! Oregon is gorgeous!!
❤️
Oregonian in exile here in Indiana. For me, lots of time spent camping around Bend, (before it became trendy) and the coast.
Crazy Neighbor for best supporting crew, a great addition
Never enough CN. Don't leave CN! Come back!
Professor Steve teaching a stealth camping elective. Great for entomology students, wildlife biology students, criminology majors, future forest rangers, game wardens and college drop outs.
Steve, it's so Canadian that you say "Texas-Mexico" cheese instead of Tex-Mex. 🤣
And I feel so bad for those kids driving all that way in a Prius! That's insane!
I think you need to understand most people watch your videos because of you, not just camping. I don't camp at all, but I watch all of your videos because you're a chill person and your videos are so simple and relaxing. I watch them while winding down and love every one.
Do whatever videos you want, people will watch.
100%
This! Came for the stealth camping, stayed for Steve.
Yup 👍
I admit it. I would watch Steve buy gum. It would be interesting gum, and worth considering.
Absolutely 👌
Everyone needs a friend like crazy neighbor.
I thought the same thing!
He really is the best.
He's the best
It’s so hard to make friends as an adult. I wish I had one friend like crazy neighbor. He’s Steve’s ride or die fr fr
Steve solo stealth camping is always great. Steve and Crazy Neighbour together turns up the crazy level. And now Steve goes out on an adventure with 3 young guys being a filmcrew, serving them an exquisite meal with deep-fries, between bears, golfers and a highway. This a new level of absurdism ... and I'm here for it.
I could feel the fatherly disappointment when Steve says…. And ya brought a glow in the dark shirt…
He actually has a son he could spend time with but chooses not to.
@@Frankybeanselevators You know a lot of what he does off camera do you?
Maybe the son doesn't want to be on camera?
Let's stealth camp in an easy place, guys - right in between a luxury golf course and a cop pull-out spot! Four people, no problem! We'll make a really complicated meal, it'll be great!
Good summary. LOL.
lol ikr
And STILL got away with it.
Make sure you bring all of your most brightly colored gear too, wouldn't want to lose anything in the woods lol
Steve Is always Mr Cool. Impressive!
"I don't know why people are golfing so late, some of us are trying to camp" 😂 Keep em coming Steve
We need this on a tshirt haha
@@NZ2STROKE Ayyyy now there's an idear
I thought that was really funny too... Steve is so dead-pan in his delivery, if you blink you've missed it lol xxx
My grandmother had a rule, didn’t matter if she was just going for a walk to the store “leave with more then what you came” she was always picking up garbage and throwing it away PROPERLY.
Love your videos Steve!
I know Steve said he has no celebrity stealth camping plans but I would love to see a mash up with Les Stroud. Both masters of understated humor. They would be the perfect camping odd couple.
Les: Theres a good spot to setup camp under this tree over here.
Steve: Oh no, thats not stealthy at all.
surviving / stealth camping the urban jungle
I want to see a stealth camp with CM.
Les - I've almost got this shelter finished. Steve, that's great 'cause I'm almost out of Step Two.
That would be amazing, to see two great and humble guys learning from each other, slightyly out of their element. Yes, Please!
I just love Crazy Neighbor! Everyone needs a friend like him! I think he has a heart of gold.
your golfing and smell taco meat cooking on the golf course eh steve's just camping in the woods again nothing to see four!
I swear that if Steve EVER gets caught by the cops it'll be "Oh, hey, it's just Steve. Sorry to bother your camping!"
Plus Steve is Mr. LNT anyway! Super responsible snd doesn’t leave trash around so why wouldn’t they.
I think he would invite the cops to dinner. Taco salad! Yay!
Police would probably just say I am off shift in two hours. Would it be ok if I comeback bring beer and my hammock!
Hey Steve.. where’s my step two…?
Care for a step 2 lol
I don't know if Steve ever looks back at the comments of these older videos, but I just wanted to mention that those seasoning packets are nice and quick and everything BUT I make all of my own seasonings loosely based on the ingredients from said packets. This way you can custom make your own flavors at a fraction of the price and you can control the amount of nefarious items like salt and the spicier flavors. I like hot stuff but not everyone does. So make a list of spices and get them and make yer own! So much more satisfying.
I'm actually surprised at how they actually listen to you. I've taken adults on hikes and they were a nightmare, never listened till they couldn't do it or shown it would not work. Props to these kids, they were great. Wish I had them on some of my hikes.
Most people would behave when two cameras are filming for a high subscriber channel.
“4 person stealth camp”…Steve has turned the difficulty up to EXTREME!!
With a pink sleeping bag! Not stealthy.
@@Clearanceman2 and a glow in the dark T-shirt!
Haaahahha lord protect our steve, he has the best ideas
Nice video, the police close by made even more interesting. 😀
I wanna see stealth camping behind a homeless shelter
As a retired officer, I can tell you that the officers parked below, found a place to pull off the highway and they "door'd up" It is a method for officers to visit while still maintaining a public presence. If they saw you, which I doubt, they were more interested in talking that searching for stealth campers.
Lol yep. I was an officer for 15 years. We called it 25ing lol. They just chilling lol
Son of pol offcr, can confirm they are bsing and slowing traffic w visibility. Prob sharing snack.
Not too different if you think about it…
Yeah, I was thinking this is actually very normal behavior. You see it all the time on interstates. They'll just hang out for a bit waiting for a call or a traffic violation/incident.
@@SD-de4do They may have been sharing a snack, but I bet they weren't deep frying tortillas in their patrol cars! LOL. Steve had better snacks than the cops!
He has the same disposition as the first host for "Blue's Clues". They even share the same first name! Steve, Sir, you are a joy to listen to.
Steve seemed so lonely at being excluded from their huddle he almost set himself on fire.
LOL
Yeah that was very rude of them.
@@kishascape i wonder what they were saying and what happened. it looked like there were frustrations on both sides

@@MrBillkaz ??? it was probably a joke like the multiple they already said. or considering they’re filming a documentary on HIM maybe they didn’t want him knowing some things to keep the authenticity. nice thought process geezer
Stop apologizing for your filming/content style. It’s what keeps it entertaining and why we keep coming back for more Steve. Love ya man. Can’t wait to see their documentary. Cheers!
Steve never gets busted through his entire career of stealth camping, decides to entertain a documentary with 3 American college kids, 2 wearing bad choices of shirts (purple, and glow in the dark), add a little beer to the mix, and picks the one place law enforcement decides to stop and talk/patrol, priceless. Luck was on your side Steve.
I was ready to do all the talking haha, I should have done a brief rundown on basic stealth... but we were filming so much beforehand.
Hi Steve ..So sorry to hear about the loss of you’re beautiful wife ..Life can be so unfair ..Sending you my condolences..Next time I see a homeless person I will be doing something to help them in tribute to Jess ..Love and best wishes Mylon and family YNWA x

Like how Steve is cooking for four, but it’s practically the same portions he usually uses for just himself.😂
Remember The sandwich hahaha
Hahahahha. Right. Steve and his really really tiny meals! 😂😂😂😂. Not

Stealth camping at its finest
Beware of deep flying misleaded Golfballs, it wouldnt help to cook them an hour or longer...... 😄
Best line in the video!
I love how Steve low key roasts these kids every now and again lol. Love ya steve!
Probably why he didn't school them on the color of their clothing
LOL so priceless
This is internet gold. I can't wait to see their film.
I always thought Canada was a pretty mellow place but apparently the penalty for illegal camping must be like 20 years in prison judging from how paranoid Steve always is.
Turn it up to 11! That was the "Spinal Tap" of episodes. Everything a "Camping with Steve" Fan could want in a video! A new twist; an old location; food to feed an army; Step 2's; brilliant understated humor; drama with the Police; people golfing next to a Taco Party in the woods... but, perhaps the best moment - 0:47 - when Crazy Neighbor made sure to grab his 15 pack of Brewhouse Pilsner, while the crew and Steve get the other 15 pack. Thank you, Steve! Your videos are my (and almost a million more folks) favorite moments of the week... some Thursday Night 'Stealthers' with Steve.
Nigel: “….but this one goes to 11.” 😂 Awww Gen X memories! Thank you!
”They wanted to do a documentary , uumm about Camping With Steve…stealth camping. For some reason…” Reason is because they love you Steve! As do We all! 😄😄👍👍
When your watching a channel with guys out in the woods and it's better than what you're eating
Mom should be proud of that lad, "No! Mom would be mad at me!" - Strong showing, friend! I didn't drink until I was old enough, and I had plenty of friends who wanted me to drink even though I was 20. Strength of character in that one!
I laughed when Steve pulled out a whole jug of olive oil in the stealth camp haha
😆
That looked like over a gallon of oil
🤣
Got to shop at Costco lol, buy in bulk.
I mean he used half of it for a deep fry, was probably vegetable or canola oil btw. Ya don't deep fry in olive oil :D
That was Stealth Stooges. Steve, you’re a champ for taking the crew to your favorite billboard. Cop 1 - should we check it out? Cop 2 - Nah. That’s just Steve.
I honestly think that was what this was about. They came back a second time just to strike that fear again. LOL!
Really nice of you to invite those guys along, made for a fun different video, but with all the classic Steve vibes. Excited to watch the documentary and the plans for the future you mentioned sound great!
Steve...you are a rock star! I'm surprised the talk shows haven't invited you as a guest on their shows! Please let us know if that should happen, I would not want to miss that! Please never change!
Everything we want from a CWS video.
Dry humour, out of the box thinking, exploding gas stoves, gourmet grub and a brush with the law.
Oh and crazy neighbour’s ‘starfish’ greeting. 👍😂
Never disappoints.
The drinking thing was hilarious Steve! That kid saying his mom wouldn’t like it was classic. You really took on quite a project with that bunch. As always your videos are a pleasure. Thanks!
The deer in the headlights that kid gave the camera was hilarious. "My mom would kill me." So innocent
What did he do then, hit a popper after he handed the beer back? 😆
Especially given the pink can of special pop that was shown in the back of the suv. I’m sure these kids were enjoying everything canada has to offer.
That was the most uncomfortable interaction I've ever seen... Love Steve and these guys but damn. 6:52
I wish they were a bigger part of the video, but the constant silence, staying behind their gear made this really uncomfortable to watch. Everyone was on different wavelengths.
Yeah the “stealth camping” crew, cut to guy wearing bright neon orange shirt. I was like, oh this is gonna be good. Uncle Steve has his hands full!!!
Shout out to crazy neighbor. Without him, most of the trips wouldn’t be possible 🤣🤣
Honestly, you saying it didn't go to plan is exactly why it'll be a perfect documentary (can't wait to see it!) to highlight all the things that can go wrong: weather, potential discovery, even the semi-running gag of the flaming stove 🔥😅
And I had to lol at the one guy, Ethan, "My mom will so kill me." Adorably responsible.

I really love this channel. I'm so glad I stayed to see what was going on, 🤣 (what it was about). Steve and Crazy Neighbor are two awesome men, hilarious 😂 too!
Now, this is how you make a video. Great job, Steve!
I like Steve; he is down-to-earth and a very caring man.
Do you want to know what brings me back time and time again? it's because Steve doesn't go off on tangents every time something goes wrong or he doesn't like what a viewer says. Maybe if the viewer says something really outrageous, he might, but I've yet to hear him, lol 😆
Steve doesn't knock his food over and then start to criticize other CZcams channels for being too perfect, then start criticizing his own viewers just because he feels like it over something really childish.
NOPE, STEVE IS NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL. Plus, Steve will comment back to you; he doesn't make you pay in order to get a comment or a heart back from him. Like other CZcamsrs, we know.
If I'm going to give money to someone, it's going to be because you're totally awesome, like Steve is, not because I want them to notice me or reply to my comments.
Steve is awesome!
My favorite videos are the homemade houseboat. Awesome, indeed. Well, actually, all of Steve's videos are awesome.
