I didn't get to see them at the 02, but I did see them in 1970 when they were starting out. I saw them again in Vancouver in 1975 two nights in a row, The last time was in 1977 in Seattlle at the KIngdome. I'm now 73 years old and when I first heard them back in 1969 I knew they were something else. I have always loved this band and their awesome music. It really moves me to hear all the comments and the love from those of you who were not as lucky to have seen them. It sure is nice to be validated. Zep on guys!
Rafa yes I certainly was...now just to show you how good they were...I have met royal princess...senators..premiers; movie..tv and sport stars. I know Elvis Costello on a personal level, but my #1 experience was and always will be seeing Led Zeppelin.
Since this moment in time Dave, became Front Row Dave & spent the rest of his time on this planet recording bands @ music festivals capturing incredible video and photography of these events. Not just the artist, but the fans and staff. Many of them, he became great friends with. RIP David Beesmer, thank you for all you've done for me and the band, you'll be missed

I am still miffed you didn't mention me....you two would not know each other, and Jeff would not have been one of the lucky few.... i still love ya, though! The best weekend...the best weekend
