dude the mics in those events are VERY powerful...even if u sing softly they'll catch your voice and REALLY amplify it...so when taylor sang that high note her voice got so loud she had to put the mic far from her mouth so it doesn't get tol loud and ear shattering...she NEVER lipsyncs
