- Rusty is our one year old Boxer puppy and is as much of a quarantine puppy as you can get. My wife was working from home so Rusty was with her at home every day. However she recently went back to work in the office so I'm trying to get Rusty used to coming to work with me. He's still very unsure of it and trying to figure it out, but we're making progress

Oooookkkkkk..... Since so many of you were there and apparently know so much more about the situation I do.... Let's clear some stuff up!
First of all, why didn't I just take the drum off and bolt the wheel back on?? Because the lug nuts bottomed out before the wheel got tight.
Second, why didn't I pull lug nuts off the front and put them on the back?? Because there were only two on each front wheel as well.
Third of all, yes, there are about 14 million ways I could have done it, and this was one of them. Anyone who wants to do it differently is more than welcome to go out and do it differently!

I travel with my 2 dogs were ever I go. I plan stops every 2 hours so all 3 of us can get out of the car taking a break from the drive. We all get a chance to relieve ourselves.
My family went to the local Pharmacy and left our Boxer dog in the car for about 15 minutes. Someone parked next to our car with a small dog and our
dog went ape shit and chewed up the dash pad, door panels. and head rests. The interior was totaled. But we all loved our Boxer dog. Don't leave them alone to long.
Soon as Rusty learns that new smells come every time he gets in the Black metal box thing..he’ll be addicted!
That's why it might become the Rusty and Casey show.
Need a Crew cab for both dogs.

Boxers are so mental, we've had 3 1st Boxer x Retriever, then we had a White Boxer, last was a Brindle Boxer, all mad as a bag of Frogs, they are puppies most of their life, the suddenly there Old Dogs never seem to be Adult dogs until they get old. All ours are now over the Rainbow Bridge, loved them all.
Slick trick jacking up the frame with a drive line. Boxers are great dogs. Glad to see your new partner adapting to things.
My dogs name is Trusty, I call him Rusty Trusty! Basset hound/cockerspaniel mix.

Meh, gotta be more cautious with dollies and such. Worked out fairly well with just a little extra work....which would have been extra work to setup the dollies anyways
Casey, to make that 700R4 hold up, make sure to get the TV cable setup properly. Use a factory TV cable carb/throttle body linkage or one of the 700R4 adjustable linkages. Otherwise you will kill the clutch plates from running it at low pressure.

That's insane my former boxer's name was Chloe & the father's name was Roscoe and his son's name is rusty. Boxer dogs are the best in my book. My rusty is 3 years old so playful when they are young but as they get older they are very protective of there owners. Congratulations on having a dog named rusty as well

When I got my rescue dog I thought he would ride up front in his heated and cooled leather bucket seat. Nope he went from the front floor to the seat and then over the console and took over the whole back seat. When driving he sleeps on the floor behind my seat and when we slow down he jumps up on the seat and looks out the windows. I have to do the child locks on the rear windows, he puts his paws on the armrests and hits the window switch. 😳
I look forward to every episode you post! You could have gotten real grumpy about that stuck brake pad.....instead you showed patience and an amazing amount of resourcefulness!!!!!! Rusty rocks.......partly because of that patience !!!!

Not that you need the info, but we put and old bath mat on the passenger seat-it hangs over the center console. Keeps our woof from sliding on the leather seats. He feels more secure and lays down quicker.

Don't know if you know it... Boxers were origionally bred to run with stage coaches in England and then guard them while the drivers wer not with the vehicles. So , its appropriate that Rusty does road trips.

Lol I just watched this video. I have enjoyed watching every video I have managed to see so far. I’m a 45 year truck driver and started driving back when there were very few women In the 70 s. Funny thing I have boxers and when you let rusty out to run my big male boxer just knew there was another dog around but just couldn’t find it lol. He heard his tags rattling and probably the tell tale boxer snuffling. Rusty is a super handsome boy. Keep up the great videos. I love them all from just the adventure of seeing the Indian ruins to your many recoveries.
Love Rusty. I have a boxer terrier mix and she rides with me. I only suggest for safety that you get him a harness and seat belt. I have as well. In a sudden stop the dog will come flying from where they are and get hurt or worse. I had an idiot tail gate me for not driving over the speed limit when I was in my Jeep and If I took the turn too fast, my dog would have gotten hurt. That was the last day she rode in the rear. I brought seat covers made to protect the leather for both my car and Jeep and I brought the seat belt attachment that links to her collar. I brought the one that have a spring like material so just incase she gets thrown it will not close line her and hurt her neck. Only suggesting for safety, not telling you what to do.
I could watch the dogs all day lol. Please more!

As a older Chevy veteran it was very hard to watch the attempt of Casey taking off the brake shoes. I guess the world has been spoiled by rotors and calipers lol. Still enjoying the Content so keep the adventures coming!

I think I remember that Casey said that he kept his wife company while she worked from home and now she is back at the office, so he is training Rusty to be a road dog.

Well, MY first thought was, 'OK now for the dollies'. But my second thought was, 'I bet he took them out because he wouldn't NEED them'. Wah Waaaaaa. Story of MY life. That's what happens when we don't assume WE know better than the one actually doing. Love Rusty, had a boxer I rescued once, GREAT dog. Also loved the ingenuity shown with the 'rescue' jack! That Prius reminded me of the black smart car at the Coyote Butte cleanup, with 31s on the rear and no fenders.
Where were your tow dollies? Easiest solution and especially a good idea when towing any 'junk' chassis. Also please get Rusty a harness and seat belt clip - just in case. You don't want him flung about in the cab if some idiot hits you.
I saved a bulldog off road she took 1 road trip and hooked she loads good but out is timid unable to find owner named her Bella pretty girl in French just because she is so ugly but full of love ❤️

My dog always hated riding on the front bucket seat, there just is not enough room unless it is a real small dog. He was king of the rear seat where he could stretch out LOL . I sure do wish that my area was rust free , I see that Blazer frame and was very jealous! LOL
If I don’t have my Boxer going into Lowe’s, Walmart, ACE Hardware or the pharmacies I use, I catch hell!
